What did you think of the SC breeze folding? I found is quite clunky so went for uppababy cruz instead! I also faced the single vs double dilemma, but we just aren't committed to 2 under 2 or 3 yet so decided on buying a single and if we change our mind, we can sell and buy one that suits. It helps if you have an idea of what you want family planning-wise , a lot of folks do prefer to future proof but it seemed to me like the convert to double buggies can be a lil clunky and heavy! I was looking at the vista and it seemed bulky for one but awkward for two so I going to cross the bridge when I come to it!
We are in a similar situation. After a lot of research and trying them out in store, we are getting the Silvercross Breeze. It’s lightweight and has a foldable bassinet. It’s a 2026 model so pretty new too
I just pre ordered the breez! I was SO overwhelmed with stroller research and I didn’t know what we needed. I ended up getting the silver cross wave second hand on marketplace. I love the wave - it’s a beautiful stroller and we used the bassinet feature almost exclusively until he grew out of it. I started looking into more compact strollers because the wave is so big, and the fold is just not practical. The bassinet and the seat don’t fold so storage for the wave is a nightmare. The breez looks PERFECT - a gorgeous stroller, bassinet compatible for the next baby, and compact. Oh also - I got a Thule second hand for more rugged adventures. But I’m so excited for this stroller! I’m
I have a Thule that I bought second hand. We have a silver cross as our main stroller - actually we have two. A SC Wave (the original) and a SC Breez which I just bought. Each stroller has its pros and cons. Breez is nice and compact, Thule is better for non-pavement experiences, and Wave is great in every aspect except for space and weight. We used the bassinet feature exclusively when he was a newborn.
We tested strollers at Bambi Baby in NYC, where there’s a lot of options, and fell absolutely in love with silver cross breeze. Much sturdier than the Nuna and the finishes are better, although slightly heavier.
I tried Breez in John Lewis and really liked it. I can’t decide between Nuna Triv NeXT and Breez. Read some reviews of Nuna breaking down the line and the poor customer service. The only thing I’m cautious about Breez is that it’s fairly new and there are not much reviews from parents.
I got the Breez after trying out Nuna and Uppababy strollers in store and realizing they’re just too heavy for my needs (in-and-out of the car a lot) or too light and lack features. The breez seems lighter and easier to carry and has most features the heavier options have and a folding bassinet which looks great plus lots of storage at the bottom.
