My wife and I are also torn between the cove and fox 5. One thing we liked about the Cove is that you get a separate bassinet and seat whereas th Fox 5 uses the fabric from The bassinet for the seat. The seat on the Cove lays near flat whereas the Fox 5 it doesn’t(I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t). We found the Silvercross felt lighter and looked better than the Fox 5. The only thing we liked about the fox 5 in comparison to the silver cross was the bassinet collapsed however, it was significantly heavier than the silver cross’ bassinet
I have the Silvercross Cove and absolutely love it but defo go try them out first
Our baby is due 21st April and we went with the Silver Cross Cove set. We spent far too long researching and spending time in John Lewis.. but the Cove had everything we needed. Big wheels, easy to use and some niche designs like tilting for reflux etc. The bundle wasn't cheap at £1,200 and I can't say how it is in "real life" yet, but it's got a premium feeling and looks great. Best of luck with the decision (and congratulations on the baby!).
We have the silver cross cove, basically all our walk are through the forest and I don't feel the bumps (I also struggle with an rsi injury in my wrists) and they are doing great 3 months on. It's also lightweight and folds down really easily.
Silver cross cove is fantastic. I spent weeks looking into it, bought the cybex balios then the cove came out so I returned the cybex. We bought the cove with the glide 360 car seat. We have ended up getting the recently released silver cross nia as a travel pram which is great too - works with the car seat etc. The things that ticked the boxes for the cove for me: - big wheels with good suspension and proper tread - really quick fold mechanism (some of them seem to be designed by people who hate their users) - wheels can be removed and cleaned - compatibility with a car seat that could spin on a base - partner liked the brand and the colour options
I've just ordered this too - I'm a small person and I travel by public transport so really needed something lightweight and foldable. I realise this doesn't replace your own real life experience but I spent AGES in the shop folding and unfolding the pram with its various setup options, and rolling it around (including over obstacles lol) and I was really impressed with it! I compared it to several other similar prams as well as some more "all terrain" options (I also liked the Silver Cross Cove but the frame was just a bit too heavy) so I really put it through its paces. I'm in the UK and Silver Cross prams are very popular here, I see them everywhere.
I'm in the UK and Silver Cross seem really popular at the moment - all the ladies at my preggo yoga group have bought them lol, including me. I see them everywhere! I went for the Breez as I wanted something lightweight and a bit smaller for public transport, but also really liked the Cove. They are all particularly attractive looking compared to other brands imo with nice touches like leather effect handles.
