Really? I hate our silvercross Jet3 with a passion. It's my biggest baby purchase regret. It tips over easily side to side but also to the front (babe nearly landed on his face the other day), the magnetic buckle is super hard to attach with a squirmy baby, you can't fit anything in the basket bc of the stupid bar in the center and the viewing window doesn't attach well.
We have Silvercross Jet 3 (I believe newer version now) and it’s great, lies flat too for naps and have used it more than I expected not travelling too for just light smaller pram.
My daughter is 5 months so this is all very fresh for me. High chair can wait. I’d buy a rocker/bouncy chair before a high chair. There are really inexpensive option. My daughter likes her $30 Walmart one better than her $200 maxi cost. I actually used my breast feeding pillow with a blanket on top to place her on the couch beside me. Obviously you don’t want to leave your baby alone like that but if my arms needed a break she loved it. Travel stroller, I’d buy now. I very quickly realized I only wanted the main big stroller for walks from my house. It took up my whole trunk and was so annoying to take in and out, especially after a c section. We travel a fair amount so I knew we’d get a travel stroller eventually. I bought the silver cross jet at 2 months because it is safe for newborns. I also bought the car seat adapter and I use it more than my main stroller. Wearable breast pump- I’d have some kind of pump before your baby comes. If you plan to pump regardless of breastfeeding, get the wearable right away. If you’re not sure if you’ll pump I’d get a cheap manual one then determine if you will fact will be pumping or not. Bottle washer/warmer. I would have loved the washer before but I couldn’t justify the price. To be honest, it would have been nicer for pump parts but bottles didn’t take that long to wash. I was given a bottle warmer from a friend. I never ended using it. My daughter has been happy with cold bottles so why make more for myself. Also, the first 2 months she would decide she was hungry out of nowhere an instant after hen scream her head off. There is no way I could have waited for a bottle warmer. It is traumatizing you just wait to feed them right away when that happened. 30 seconds feels like a lifetime. Artipoppe, I was given 4 carriers from friends but really wanted a Mabe carrier. I decided to wait and am glad I did. I know people day the artipoppe is nice but there are also so many really nice carriers that are half the price or less. At the very beginning our daughter was too small for a regular carrier and we had to use a wrap carrier for 6 weeks. I was glad to have it at that age but I hate wrap carriers in general.
I have it and I have another travel stroller. It’s mostly good with good wheels but I don’t think it lies down flat enough like the other I have ( silvercross jet ) also the basket is def big enough but I find the seat just to be too short and not long enough.
Also due in April and have had the luxury of pushing a lot of strollers as a nanny! We went with the vista v3 as our workhorse stroller (will use every day for dog walks and occasionally put it in the car for big stroller days, like going to the fair or something like that), the Nuna travel stroller as our car/travel stroller, and the Nuna pipa for our infant seat (attaches to the travel without an adapter). Were covered for walks from infant (with the bassinet or the car seat) through and don’t have to lug the vista in the car every time. It truly is so life dependent though. I’ll be a SAHM so most of my life is at home with our dog. If you go on tons of walks and need something more durable, a big stroller might be worth the investment. I will say I did nanny for a family and our daily stroller was the silver cross jet, which is fantastic, but the wheels wore down much quicker than a big stroller and baby had to be 6 months before we could use it. There are tons of second hand V2 on MP, but there’s also tons of travel strollers on there too!
Best buy, a silver cross jet. It’s a lightweight pushchair (stroller) that lays flat and folds down to rucksack size to fit behind a seat in a car or take on hand luggage in a plane. It also folds up with one hand. Most useless buy, a bassinet/moses basket. I gave it away and had a small travel cot in the downstairs and a side sleeper upstairs. He absolutely hated being still and when he shifted about it rocked and woke him up
Baby is three months and we have the silver cross wave as our regular stroller and the silver cross jet we used for travel and I really love both of them. I would also like to get a Thule chariot at some point. We have a pretty rambunctious dog so the weight and durability of the wave has been helpful in not getting toppled over when walking with both of them
Had Silver Cross Wave and loved it. It is a tank - once an idiot on electric scooter ran into the pram in Chelsea turning a corner on a sidewalk, and the baby didn't even wake up, even though the bags fell off. The pram is very heavy, but it worked for me bc we were in central London and I mainly walked places or took a black cab. I kike walking, and having a comfy pram with loads of storage was great. If I had to take the tube, I used our travel pram (Silver Cross Jet). Now that we are in zone 3 and I use the car several days per week, was planning on going with Yoyo after the bassinet stage - the Wave frame is heavy and bulky for the car use.
We opted for the Silver Cross Wave for everyday and Doona for travel! We will be buying the Silver Cross Jet as a travel stroller when baby outgrows Doona. The Nuna Pipa car seat is compatible with the Silver Cross Wave, we purchased the adapters.
https://www.minirent.is/products/silver-cross-jet Tók þessa á leigu fyrir Frakklandsferð fyrr á árinu... hún er alveg sæmileg. Ef þú vilt ekki kaupa kerru þá er hún alveg fín fyrir nokkra daga, bara ekki besti kostur til að svæfa lappalangt barn í (hentar fyrir yngra en 4 ára barn). Ef þú vilt splæsa í góða kerru sem má fara í handfarangur þá ættiru að fá þér Bugaboo Buttefly (átti slíka í tæp 2 ár... alveg frábær fjárfesting og góður endursölumarkaður). Myndi byrja á Bugaboo markaðnum á Facebook.
