I’m not sure stroller compatible + 360 + used lasts while toddler exists. We went for the first two of those three. We got the maxi-cosi pebble 360 with the isofix base. It not only swivels but also pulls out towards you to make it extra easy to access. We then got the extra adapters for the silver cross wave and could use them together. Was really nice when he was younger to be able to buckle him in while in the house and then just lock the entire seat in instead of me having to bend over post c-section to strap him in. We’ll need a different seat once my son is over 13kg but it uses the same isofix base.
r/UKParenting • Best 360 car seat + stroller combo for newborn to toddler? ->We did something similar. I have a silver cross wave as our every day buggy for cobblestone streets or going out into the country and then have a Babyzen yoyo for travel
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->The better it is on uneven terrain/inclines the less foldable and heavier it’s going to be. You’ll have to decide if you want to split the difference and get something in the middle or get two. We ended up getting two. We have a silver cross one that barely folds down and is relatively heavy but it’s incredibly sturdy, has great suspension, a massive basket and has been taken on many a countryside walk across mud, gravel, rocks etc. We then also have a yoyo for travel that folds down small enough to go in the overhead compartment in a plane.
r/NewParents • Stroller Recommendations? ->I’d absolutely get a compact stroller for travel as well. We got a similar stroller to you (the silver cross wave) as it’s sturdy and good for all terrain but it barely folds down. We can take it on vacations where we drive but no way we’d do it by plane. We got a Babyzen yoyo secondhand at half price to use when travelling and it’s been brilliant being able to take it onboard the plane with us.
r/BabyBumps • Uppababy Vista vs Minu vs Additional Travel Stroller ->I’ve literally never seen them there and I spent many hours there trying to convince myself I needed and could afford a Bugaboo. (Surprise to no one, I didn’t and I couldn’t! Lol) Nuna, Uppababy, Silver Cross, Thule, Doona, Joolz, Cybex, sure. Chicco? Never. Maybe this is a new development? 🤷🏻♀️
r/nycparents • Where to see non-luxury strollers in-person ->UPDATE: moved comment to where it belonged 🤦🏻♀️ sorry, OP! You’re providing valuable information and I wasn’t negating you at all! Original comment kept below, but meant as a reply to a different comment. ————— I’ve literally never seen them there and I spent many hours there trying to convince myself I needed and could afford a Bugaboo. r/nycparents • Where to see non-luxury strollers in-person ->The Silver Cross Wave has been a great stroller for us! Easy to steer with a heavy toddler on the front and has a bassinet option for baby
r/2under2 • What stroller are you using? ->We got a lot of stuff from buy nothing groups on Facebook and hand me downs. We splashed out on a Silver Cross Stroller and an Owlet monitor. We got a changing table and rocking chair from Ikea, and then went midrange on Philips Avent for bottles and steriliser / warmer. We got a BabyBjorn carrier and bouncer, a Lovevery play mat, Halo Bassinest, Boppy cushions all as hand me downs and Facebook buy nothing. We bought a second hand Nuna car seat from a very trusted friend in an almost new condition. I got my pump through our insurance.
r/BabyBumps • Baby items are SO expensive my gosh ->You're going to have trouble with this for multiple reasons. 1. Budget - $500 is pretty low for a durable stroller. Most will be closer to $700-$1200. Although I did see that Thule Urban Glide 2 is on sale at Amazon right now for under $500 2. Purpose - jogging, travel, compact, all terrain, newborn-toddler, single, double, tandem... there are a million types of strollers that all serve a different purpose. Those purposes may seem silly now, but they do matter. 3. Kids' preferences - your kid may HATE whatever stroller you choose making it a total waste of money. Like I got a single stroller that could be converted into a double (SilverCross Wave). My first loved it. Used it everywhere, then my second came and they DESPISED being front/back. We had to buy a side-by-side stroller so they could see each other (Zoe Twin) - -Another note is that a lot of jogging strollers (which is what you should look at if you want all-terrain), are meant to only be used from 6-9+ months. You may be able to find one with a car seat adapter, but not a newborn bassinet. Jogging strollers will also be heavier, bulkier, and not fold as compactly - so make sure it will fit in your car or home storage. The good news is there are always a ton of jogging strollers available used on FB marketplace. I've gone through 5 strollers and wagons in three years (SilverCross Wave, SilverCross Jet, Wagonfold W4, Zoe Twin, and a jogging stroller) My recommendation would be to get a travel stroller that has a lay-flat seat and is compatible with your newborn car seat, get through postpartum, let baby develop some head control, and THEN get a jogging stroller. I also recommend going to a local baby store and actually try pushing whichever stroller you get in person before purchasing!
r/BuyItForLife • Stroller Recommendations ->Silver cross wave. We have an uppababy vista and while I love it I don't love that I HAVE to buy a $300 rumble seat to have two kids sitting in it. It's infuriating that I can't put the toddler seat on the bottom and a newborn on the top!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->I went with the Silver Cross stroller and Clek car seat. I’m not delivering my baby until Monday, so mostly I have just used the stroller for training my dog to walk next to it. But I will say that thing is STURDY and beautiful. The car seat is installed and also seems extremely safe. I’m happy with both so far and love the non toxic materials. The stroller might be a little bulky for errands going in and out of the car a lot, so I may opt to baby wear.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Looking for Car seat/Stroller Recommendation ->We wanted a single to double option, and ended up with the silver cross wave 3 with the clek liing infant seat. The silver cross wave is sturdy and perfect for walks, but it takes up tons of space in the trunk. So we’re buying a silver cross travel stroller to allow us to be more mobile. Of all the single to double options, the wave has the most reasonable option of toddler up front and baby closer to the parent up top.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller and Carseat Recommendations [ON] ->Bugaboo Donkey hands down. We had the Silver Cross Wave system, which is one behind the other. It was fine while they were newborn in the car seats, but they wanted to see each other after the first few months and even the "universal" Silver Cross ride-on board for our oldest doesn't work with the Wave. Most tandems (in front and behind) are much wider than you think, and not actually that different than some of the side by sides. The Wave was so easy to drive, but was simply so long it caused issues plus the twins wanted to interact, so we switched to a used Bugaboo Donkey. Was 100% the right move. The Donkey is also collapsible so it can be used as a single pram if someone does occasionally only take one twin out, though not sure how often that realistically will happen as I can't think of a single time that happened for us. Both prams took up about the same amount of boot space. Even if you decide to not get the Donkey, get a side by side, not a tandem. Having driven a few of both, they're not that much narrower.
