Height of the handle was very important for us. If you're tall, it's hard to find one that suits. We went for Cossato Wow XL and loved it. Had a Silvercross Wayfarer and that worked too

We got a cheap silver cross travel pram off fb. We’ve had it nearly 2 years and it was probably 2 years old when we got it. It’s been on probably 10 trips and it’s just this week sustained its first damage on a jet 2 flight. Will 100% be doing the same thing again and buying on fb to replace it. I would not take our expensive and large bugaboo on a flight for fear it would get damaged. If you take your car seat make sure it is well wrapped

Never been happy with Silvercross. We’ve had the Silvercross full bundle - car seat was rubbish and the pram was heavy and impractical. Rucksack and hand warmers were a nice touch. I would avoid any Silvercross products based on my experience. We’ve had the Bugaboo double (side by side, called donkey I think?!) - it’s good but a bit unwieldy, Doona one that converts to a car seat (useful but heavy and uncomfortable for child), Babyzen yo-yo (useful for travel but limited) and the Joolz aer which is great for travel (can get on a plane) and more versatile than the Babyzen so it can be used more like a normal pram - it’s been my favourite travel pram. On a side note, the Cybex car seats that rotate are amazing.

The better it is on uneven terrain/inclines the less foldable and heavier it’s going to be. You’ll have to decide if you want to split the difference and get something in the middle or get two. We ended up getting two. We have a silver cross one that barely folds down and is relatively heavy but it’s incredibly sturdy, has great suspension, a massive basket and has been taken on many a countryside walk across mud, gravel, rocks etc. We then also have a yoyo for travel that folds down small enough to go in the overhead compartment in a plane.

We got a silver cross, it was great. When choosing a pram/buggy I would say visit a shop and try them out. Lots of things to consider It depends on on your needs/ lifestyle, will you be having to regular walks to the park or shops, if so one with a larger bottom basket is a lifesaver, but if you will be travelling a lot by car, does the folded pram fit in your boot. Are there steps up to your house/apartment or a place you frequently go to, if so the weight of the pram will be important. Does the pram easy to collapse with one hand (while holding the baby) and is it robust/sturdy enough if you regularly walk on an uneven surface. Do you prefer the feel of a pushing with a bar or handles, and are the handles /bar comfortable and at a good height (you will be using it a lot), will the colour of the pram stain easily and what extras are provided(eg parasol or double cup holders (if two people are going for a walk and coffee or water is your thing)

We got the silver cross exactly because of the bassinet option, it felt like such premium fabric. I was adamant about not using the car seat out of the car so the bassinet served us well.
