Personally love my Thule UG2. Great in the snow
I have 3 if you count a wagon! I have the vista v2, Thule urban glide and evenflo explore pivot wagon. Use the vista the most because it’s left in my car. Wagon is used a lot though. Thule not as much, but I do like it as a jogging stroller.
Strollers are such a hard rec because it’s so dependent on your lifestyle and where you live! We live in a small town, where many of the walking routes and neighbourhoods either don’t have sidewalks or have sidewalks in pretty tough shape. Most people here have bobs, which I’d say is always a solid option, but they are enormous and would be insane for city life. We have a bumbleride indie, the seat folds into a bassinet with no additional pieces needed so it’s appropriate for a newborn without needing to attach the car seat. I have loved this feature. Hubby is 5’11 and it suits him fine with plenty room to adjust the handlebars taller. We are really happy with it, it’s all terrain and handles well without being a massive jogger. It folds small enough to fit in the back of my Rav 4 with plenty of room for our dog to also sit back there, which was a priority, and its petite enough to easily take into crowded stores and narrow aisles. We also have a Thule urban glide 2, bought secondhand to be used for running. I loveee that stroller but it’s crazy big, really long and it takes up the whole cargo area of my trunk. The handle can adjust super high though, and you can purchase a newborn bassinet attachment if you want a pram style. Personally if not for the size vs vehicle factor this is the one I would have gone with.
Where are you located? Happy to lend our my Thule Urban Glide 2 (it's quite old and second hand, but works perfectly fine. Had the tires pumped and wires checked). We don't use ours much now our kid is a toddler and doesn't have the patience for long runs. Just DM me :)
We’re a very outdoorsy family so from the get go I knew we’d go with a Thule. We’ve trusted them for multiple bike racks etc. I’d have liked to buy the full setup new but for $1500 all in for the Urban Glide 3 and bassinet, it was just too much. Ended up getting an Urban Glide 2 with a bassinet off FB for $175. Best thing we ever did was buy a used stroller. I don’t care if it gets beat up or if we don’t use it like we thought we would. It’s super durable and is just as capable as a jogging stroller as it is wandering downtown.
Do note that it's not safe for baby to go jogging in ANY jogging stroller (regular jogger, carseat attachment, or bassinet attachment) until they are at least 6 months old and have good neck control. We have the Thule Urban Glide 2 and it's fantastic.
Guten gebrauchten Thule Urban Glide (2). Finde den am besten, weil er auch ein super guter normaler Kinderwagen ist.
