I believe the Thule UG3 is compatible with the Nina pipa (check the list of compatible seats on Thule website to confirm) but you can’t actually run with a baby in a any jogging stroller until after 6 months when the my have sufficient neck control to sit up in the regular seat, so I’m not sure if having car seat compatibility with the jogging stroller would really change anything if you’re planning to use a different stroller as your every day stroller. Anecdotally, we got the UG3 with bassinet and a maxi cosi mico luxe+ car seat with the adapters for the UG3. I love the stroller and use it daily with the bassinet but have never not once used it with the car seat… if we’re going on a long walk, the bassinet (or ergo baby carrier) is more comfortable for her (so we take her out of the car seat and put her into one of those) and if we’re just doing errands, the UG3 is WAY too big to fold/unfold and load into the car. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten a Doona to make those little trips easier. I think all of this is really dependent on your lifestyle though (I live in a very walkable neighborhood in a town that is otherwise quite car-centric) so I’d recommend thinking through how you want to use things or asking other people in your area with similar lifestyles!

We had good success with both a Mountain Buggy and a Thule. Note - both are jogging strollers, the Thule has a newborn attachment. I should add - we live somewhere snowy and walk a lot (ie malls and putting it in the trunk aren't common for us) and that very much informed our choices.

We have the Thule urban glide with the bassinet and would recommend it if your budget allowed. Thule has a newborn insert if you don’t want to get the bassinet. Guava also has an all terrain stroller but I am unfamiliar with it. Hope others chime in with suggestions.

We got a Thule Ultra Glide 3 and a Thule Spring only because I get a pro deal with them for ski patrol. It was a solid choice

This isn’t true, there’s huge differences between strollers. Sure there are examples of “status strollers”, but I would also say it’s a huge difference between a 200€ stroller and ex Bugaboo Fox. How it folds, how easy it is to fold, how compact it gets, how easy it is to push and stead varies a lot. I’ve been through 7 different strollers the past years (most of them bought and sold). My favorites: Thule ultra glide 3 and bugaboo fox. Thule is my favorite as I am a runner, but it’s fantastic during winter when it’s a lot of snow. It feels sturdy and is easy to fold, but it’s a large stroller. My advice; buy a nice stroller second hand. Go for a known brand and test different brands. PS. It’s worth mentioning that we let the baby nap in the stroller where I live (Scandinavia), and time the baby sleeps indoors are during the night. Therefore we use the stikker ALLOT. It’s basically a part of me at this point (I am currently in paid parental leave).

We have the Thule Urban Glide with the infant attachment and we love it! We live in the foothills of a mountain and it is perfect for all terrain! My baby is 10 months so we have taken her on several walks and several runs with it and we always enjoy it! To answer your last question- we have more strollers than we ever thought we were going to have 🤦🏻‍♀️ but it is completely not necessary. If I were to do it all over, the Thule with infant seat attachment and a travel stroller is all you need. We have the uppababy, Thule, Doona, and now looking for an easily collapsible and condensed stroller for travel. Completely dumb on our part because we didn’t know.

We have the Thule Urban Glide and found a new one from Facebook Marketplace. You can buy an infant attachment so you can use it as a primary stroller to attach your car seat. However, you cannot use it to run until baby is 6 months old. We love having ours! It gives us the option to do runs together or for me to go on a run on the days daycare is closed and I’m with my baby. I will say, we haven’t used it as much as I thought we would because sometimes I like my runs to be my “me time” for shutting off my brain. But we have a lot of fun with it when we do use it- especially for 5k fun runs around town!

Thule is a great brand and has a great resale value. I personally bought one on fb marketplace for $100 and I believe it was manufactured in 2015/16.

When I travel with my kids I bring my Thule urban glide, my mockingbird with the car seat adapter and double attachment, and three car seats. I do not travel light though lol.

r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->

Don’t know about that one specifically, but the Thule urban glide is amazing. If I only were going to have one kid and one stroller, I’d buy that with an infant insert. It handles mountains like a champ

I got mine for 350 at a Black Friday sale from a sport retailer. This was 3 years ago though
