I have the Thule Urban Glide 4 wheel with the CLEK Liing (and Honda CRV), and though the stroller is big, honestly I’ve easily gotten used to loading and unloading it, taking it into stores, no problem. I’ll sometimes do 3-4 stops in an outing putting the stroller and car seat combo together each time, and it’s not zero effort but also isn’t too onerous. I’ve been happy with the combo but have nothing to compare it to. I for sure wouldn’t take it for long distance/airplane travel though.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller and car seat dilemma [qc] ->We have the Thule Urban Glide with the infant attachment and we love it! We live in the foothills of a mountain and it is perfect for all terrain! My baby is 10 months so we have taken her on several walks and several runs with it and we always enjoy it! To answer your last question- we have more strollers than we ever thought we were going to have 🤦🏻♀️ but it is completely not necessary. If I were to do it all over, the Thule with infant seat attachment and a travel stroller is all you need. We have the uppababy, Thule, Doona, and now looking for an easily collapsible and condensed stroller for travel. Completely dumb on our part because we didn’t know.
r/fitpregnancy • Stroller options: jogging stroller for everyday use as well? ->We have the Thule Urban Glide and found a new one from Facebook Marketplace. You can buy an infant attachment so you can use it as a primary stroller to attach your car seat. However, you cannot use it to run until baby is 6 months old. We love having ours! It gives us the option to do runs together or for me to go on a run on the days daycare is closed and I’m with my baby. I will say, we haven’t used it as much as I thought we would because sometimes I like my runs to be my “me time” for shutting off my brain. But we have a lot of fun with it when we do use it- especially for 5k fun runs around town!
r/fitpregnancy • jogging stroller/buggy - is it worth it? ->Based on your stroller wants, it sounds similar to what we did. We got a Babyzen Yoyo as our main daily urban + travel stroller - we used it with the bassinet attachment until baby was ~5 months then switched to the seat. Then we also got a Thule Urban Glide for a jogger to use on trails, while running, etc. - be aware that baby should not be in a stroller while running until 6 months at the earliest, even with newborn attachments, etc. because they don’t have the neck strength. So you can use the jogger for long walks those first several months but definitely wait to run until baby is older and more stable. For car seat we wanted lightweight and the least toxic materials I could find so we got the Nuna Pipa for our infant car seat then transitioned to the Nuna Rava at 10 months.
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We have 3 strollers. Each serves its purpose. Uppababy vista for general day to day use, Thule urban glide jogger for “off road” places (camping, trails, orchards, anything that isn’t paved) and we have a little umbrella stroller that primarily lives at MIL’s house. The only stroller purchased new was the Vista, and technically it was a baby shower gift, so we didn’t really even buy it.
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->Thule Urban Glide Younger one is 3, so probably last days for ours, but had it since our first, probably 2000+ miles, still going strong
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->Thule urban glide system 😍😍
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I have 3 if you count a wagon! I have the vista v2, Thule urban glide and evenflo explore pivot wagon. Use the vista the most because it’s left in my car. Wagon is used a lot though. Thule not as much, but I do like it as a jogging stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [ON] How many strollers did you end up having? ->I have a plethora of strollers, and I can honestly say yes, there is a difference in maneuverability and smooth ride, durability when you pay more for a stroller. However, there are also a lot of different TYPES of strollers, and depending on where you live, what kind of terrain you plan to take your stroller on, you may not need something expensive. Or, if price is an issue, look for something lightly used. For example, I have an uppababy vista v2 and it’s very sturdy and handles great. That stroller costs about $1,200 new. I also eventually bought a Thule urban glide for around $600, and that stroller handles just as well in my opinion. There are definitely differences between them, but I don’t think there is a “unicorn” stroller out there that does it all. You have to pick and choose what you care about most.
r/Buyingforbaby • Are “luxury” strollers actually worth it? ->Depends how much you walk! Our Thule urban glide has racked up over 3000km so far by my count and is still going strong with baby #2. It's annoying bulky but has stood the test of time and comfortable on the unsealed walking tracks round about the neighbourhood.
r/daddit • Hands down, the best purchase I've made in years ->We have the britax stroller that’s perfectly adequate for every day use and we have the Thule urban glide for exercise and adventures
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
