If you have the aria car seat, would you consider a used UB Minu stroller? It might fit overhead but also can gate check. I have the minu duo with the bag and the bag is pretty solid. Also gate checking the doona, if you plan to also use it as a car seat, runs a risk of damage to the doona which could impact the safety of the seat.

r/NewParents • UPPAbaby Stroller Travel Bag w/ TravelSafe Coverage - Actually worth it? ->I got an Uppababy Cruz (single) gently used on Facebook Marketplace and it's been great! We had intended to space pregnancies about two years apart. Then I got unexpectedly pregnant with my 2nd at 5 months postpartum - due in January - and I recently bought a very gently used Uppababy Minu Duo on FB Marketplace. I wanted a side by side that could be used from birth on where you can also click a car seat into & I personally really hated the Vista and how heavy it was and its configurations for two. Honestly I don't regret what we did in terms of stroller decisions because I'm sure we'll use the Cruz a lot still!
r/BabyBumps • Single/double stroller ->We had the vista and the uppa baby car seats and it was great at first but it’s sooooo bulky! I hated going anywhere alone with it. We ended up getting the uppa baby minu duo (which you can use from newborn on) and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It’s side by side but it fits through every door. It’s so easy to maneuver. Since we got it we literally have not touched the vista. I wish we had gotten the minu duo from the start. I would’ve gotten a. Cheaper base for the car seats to clip into and use the minu duo as my main stroller
r/parentsofmultiples • Double Strollers ->I think only one car seat fits in the minu duo! We used the vista when they were infants because that obviously fit both. But if we could go back we’d keep the car seats in the car and just transfer to the minu duo as newborns. They’re only 6 months old/ 4 adjusted and we haven’t used the car seats in the stroller in two months since we got the minu duo. We bring it everywhere and just transfer them in and our of the car seats. The vista with car seats is SO bulky
r/parentsofmultiples • Double Strollers ->Yes. Mine are 16 months apart. I use the minu duo.
r/2under2 • Do you actually use your double stroller?? ->With what you’re describing, don’t get the Minu Duo. We love a lot about it, but our toddler who doesn’t like to be buckled has literally been flung out of it when we’ve hit slightly uneven sidewalks. She’s been fine and it kinda looked like a cartoon, but also it’s not great. Didn’t/doesn’t happen with the Minu which we *loved* for just her.

r/toddlers • What double stroller do you use? ->I’ve tried them in store and was not super impressed by the quality. I much prefer Uppababy, both because they feel more solid and they’re slightly better priced
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Are bugaboo strollers worth the hype? [BC] ->I feel like this is kind of what the Minu Duo was made for! Lightweight and relatively narrow for a double (just under 28" - only 2" wider than the Vista, and the same weight as the Vista!), folds with one hand, can handle both ages well with deep recline for naps
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller recommendations for travel to Europe, will have a 24 month old and a 7month old. [mb] ->I have a vista and a minu duo. We love them both! For a double, the minu duo is so much easier to use than the vista. The vista requires adapters and extra seats to be a double and it all has to be taken apart to fold it. The mini duo you can just fold and go. No adapters needed unless you want to use an uppa infant seat with it - which you can! The vista is an amazing single. We live in a rural area and needed one good on rough terrain as well. We travel a few times a year and before we had our second I bought a cheaper single travel stroller. You get what you pay for! I wanted to throw it off a bridge because the quality was so poor. It did not compare to the uppa and I wished I had spent the money on a nice travel stroller. Now that we have 2 kids we will use the minu duo as a travel stroller, but I learned my lesson with the cheaper single. I should have spent the money on a nicer travel stroller like the minu (single) or the nuna trvl.
r/BabyBumps • Uppababy Vista vs Minu vs Additional Travel Stroller ->I highly recommend looking for second hand options. We got an UppaBaby Cruz V1 in 2022 for $200 on Facebook marketplace. Tag says it was made in 2018 and the thing is a tank. It came with the bassinet and I bought a new UppaBaby car seat to go with it. We are expecting baby 2 now and will have a 27-month age gap. I plan on buying the new UppaBaby Minu Duo to use with both kids. I personally would not want the Vista due to its size. I prefer side-by-side for double strollers and am glad to have a lightweight option for both everyday use and travel. I got a Baby Jogger City Tour 2 for 60% off to use as a smaller travel stroller with my firstborn. It is more lightweight and compact compared to the UB Cruz. When we travel, either by plane or super packed car, it is the only stroller we bring. However, the UB is sooo much nicer. You really do get what you pay for.
r/BabyBumps • Confused by strollers, what do you recommend? ->The Minu V3 has a near flat recline and is newborn ready. I gave birth to my second baby recently and have the Minu Duo with the same infant design. I have really loved it with my newborn. I used the bassinet and Cruz with my firstborn and really have no preference between the two designs. But there is a huge weight and fold difference between the Minu V2/3 and Cruz and that may be a bigger deciding factor.
r/BabyBumps • Stroller What features are actually worth it? ->There are so many options, too many! If you know you’re going to travel by plane, perhaps go ahead and get a travel stroller that you can use with an infant car seat. You’ll discover your preferences and what you really need once baby is here. Highly recommend Uppababy Minu V3 and a compatible infant car seat. We bought our Uppababy Cruz V1 (including the bassinet) on FBMP for $200 in 2022 when I was pregnant with baby #1. I actually preferred baby wearing, so we really only used the stroller for those early doctor appointments and then later when he got too big to carry. I really love the Cruz, but definitely glad we got it second hand given that I mostly used the baby carrier. We did end up with a travel stroller from Baby Jogger that I got on deep discount during their Friends and Family sale (someone shared the code on Reddit). It was much better for flying and road trips than the Cruz, but you can definitely tell the difference in quality. Baby #2 is now 5 months old and we have the Uppababy Minu Duo stroller. I prefer a side by side double stroller. I still use the Cruz when I go out with just one kiddo, but that doesn’t happen very often.
r/BabyBumps • Strollers? Single to double, single, or travel? ->100% yes. I bought my Uppababy Cruz V1 on Facebook marketplace for my first baby. It was made in 2018 and is in great shape after at least 3 babies. I purchased Minu Duo this year before having baby 2. They are both so much nicer, smoother, and better than my travel Babyjogger City Tour. Uppababy strollers are tanks and last. Check out used ones for sale near you.
r/BabyBumps • Is there really that big a difference between higher end brands e.g. Uppababy vs middle brands e.g. Graco? Looking at strollers. ->Another vote for Minu Duo. No experience with the others OP listed. We bought the travel bag as well and have flown with it. I registered the stroller and bag, so I have the Uppababy travel insurance in case it breaks while flying. OP, I love that this stroller is newborn ready. I also got the adaptors to put our car seat on it, but I much prefer keeping baby out of the car seat if we are not in the car. I highly recommend looking for the infant ready feature with a double stroller. I think the Nuna has the bassinet mode as well. But I have heard the Nuna feels a bit shaky and the canopy rests against the parents hands on the handlebar if the canopy is pulled back. That would annoy me.
r/2under2 • Double stroller recommendations? ->The absolutely perfect baby gear for all scenarios does not exist. I would advise looking on Facebook marketplace to find items secondhand if you want to purchase multiple strollers. You don’t need to get everything before the baby comes. Most strollers (especially jogging strollers) cannot be used until baby is 3-6 months old. You may want to use the Doona at first while you figure out what is important to you. Your baby will likely outgrow the infant car seat by age one. So you can use the Doina for travel during this short-lived time. You will then travel with a convertible car seat which does not click into any stroller. I recommend taking a look at the Uppababy Minu V3. It has a bassinet mode built in and can have a car seat click in (only certain models). It also folds up small enough to go in the airplane overhead compartment. We got a used Uppababy Cruz V1 on FBMP. I used it a lot in the early baby days with the car seat. I had the bassinet, but ended up babywearing most often. I especially preferred babywearing when we went to events and other crowded spaces. So much easier than making our way with a stroller. I started using the stroller more in the toddler days as my son has global delays and was a late walker. I got a Baby Jogger City Tour during Black Friday sale to use as our travel stroller. Neither stroller is perfect, but both have been great to have for different reasons and uses. I just gave birth to our daughter and got the Uppababy Minu Duo stroller so I can take both kiddos out and about.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->We got the new uppababy minu double and love it. I have had every stroller imaginable vista, valco duo and a wagon and this is the best. We recently took it to Disney and it was great. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old.
r/toddlers • Best double stroller for 4 year old and 1 year old? ->No single twin stroller is best. It really depends on your lifestyle and preference. A lot of twin parents end up with different strollers for the baby vs toddler stage. I personally love the Minu Duo. It’s light, compact side by side that comes with a good travel bag and warranty since we travel a ton. It’s also from birth compatible so we can use it with infants for local strolls. Downside is that in only fits one infant seat. When using infant car seats, I prefer an inline strollers because they fit through doorways so much easier when using two infant car seats. We had a UB Vista from our first so we use that with 2 infant car seats but chose not to buy the second seat cause it was expensive and inline strollers suck to manuever with 2 heavy toddlers. There are also cheap stroller frames you can buy that get the job done when using infant car seats the first year.
r/parentsofmultiples • Best Stroller for Twins ->We have a vista 2 from our singleton. We love it. It’s converted wonderfully for the twins and is so easy to use with infant seats. We do plan to sell it after they grow out of infant seats to offset the side by side stroller we bought. The second seat is really expensive for the vista and we wanted a side by side for when they are older so we bought the Minu Duo before the tariff price increase.
r/parentsofmultiples • Double Strollers ->I have both the vista and the minu. I would say keep the vista if that is what you are going to use most of the time. It is really good on most terrain. The Minu while being a standout travel stroller really will not compare to standard strollers on rough terrain. We got the minu because we flight travel 6-8 times a year and at that point it makes it really worth the extra expense for the ease of handling. You still have to buy a travel bag with the minu and it’s not that much cheaper than the vista bag. Once your kid is walking or even sitting upright, cheap umbrella stroller is the best for 1-2 flights per year.
r/BabyBumps • Uppababy Vista vs Minu vs Additional Travel Stroller ->We have a Minu and carry on over a dozen flights. Fits just fine in overhead.
r/BabyBumps • Is it possible to have just one stroller?? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
