We got an UPPAbaby Vista used off of marketplace (they go for about $250 where I live). We walk a lot and the big wheels do well in the snow. Having only ever used the vista it doesn't feel heavy to me but I don't have a point of comparison. I sometimes wish we'd gone with the cruz just because the front hallway of our condo is narrow but it's not a major issue. The only downside is we can't use it as a travel stroller (currently scouring marketplace for one to take to Japan next month) but not a huge deal as we likely won't be flying much once my mat leave ends next year.

Just got a second. We started off with an old Vista I got on marketplace, we use it daily and it's been great. We recently got a mountain buggy nano (also from marketplace) because we were going to Japan and needed a compact travel stroller.

My daughter is 9 months old and we just bought a second. Our everyday is a vista (og) that we take on daily walks or to Costco. It's a bit big but it was very cheap off of Marketplace. This week we picked up a mountain buggy nano (also from marketplace) that we plan to take with us when we travel to Asia next month.

Hey! I’m in Montreal and got a used first edition Uppababy Vista for $150. The wheels are massive and I’ve heard they’re great for winter. Also ended up inheriting a Graco Modes stroller and car seat from a friend, which also seems super sturdy and rolls well. We’ll be trying both this winter!

I have a Bumbleride and an Uppababy and honestly, if I had to have just one I’d go with the Uppababy with the newborn insert. The bumbleride is great but just very heavy and bulky! We did a Nuna car seat because I liked the materials. We did an Uppababy stroller and I feel great about it, I think that it’s one of those things that’s worth being moderate about, personally.

If you are doing high end like UppaBaby, second hand is the way to go. We got one that was 9 years old for $50, replaced all the fabric to make it new, and it works perfectly and I don't care about walking it out in the rain and snow (city walkers). We also had a smaller travel stroller and started with Yoyo. Hated it. The wheels tremor if you walk too fast and there is 0 storage underneath. There are much better options now and we are happier with the Bugaboo butterfly. Similar size, weight, and much better storage. Almost all travel stroller lay kind of flat and don't sit upright which is frustrating for my kiddo who likes to sit upright. But the travel stroller is amazing for trips. Also agree with what others said. Think about how much you will really use it. In the city, the stroller is our car, it's how we get anywhere so under storage and size really matter for grocery shopping. My SIL in the suburbs splurged on a new UppaBaby and after 2 kids it's like brand new because they just don't use it.

UppaBaby will last forever, don't worry about wearing it down. We got ours as a hand me down, it was 10 years old and we have been using it for 3; it still works so damn well. We live in a city so use it for miles a day. We replaced the wheels and fabric but I am so glad I got a used one because I have no qualms about taking it out in the rain or snow. I don't think I would need it in the suburbs.

We have had a (2010-2014) vista for 10+ years, across multiple kids. It’s taken a beating. It’s great for shopping. It sucks if you have to carry it up the stairs on a non-accessible subway. We’ve chucked it in the back of Ubers, we’ve navigated crowded spaces (honestly, the vista wheelbase is about an inch wider than convenient), we’ve taken it up ancient Roman steps, dragged it across sandy beaches, and checked it as a luggage. We wore down the tires to the absolute base (there are multiple layers of rubber/felt/padding in the wheels), and then finally reached out to UppaBaby in frustration for replacement wheels, only to find out they had a special reserve, and we have an extra seat. We plan on giving it a Vikings funeral when it’s done.

I have the uppa baby vista with the piggy back but ended up getting a Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 with their ride along attachment and love it. I got it for airports because it’s much smaller and better for rental cars (I have three kids and often travel with grandparents… space is premium). I use it more than the uppa baby now. The ride along attachment is a little trickier to get on and off quickly, but just takes some practice. Uppa baby does have a lot more storage underneath, which I do miss sometimes with the baby jogger and could be a consideration for Disney. Baby jogger is easier to collapse in my opinion.

Uppababy Vista (regular) and Bugaboo Butterfly (daycare drop-off - stroller storage at daycare is limited - and sometimes for traveling out of our immediate neighborhood). We would definitely use the Butterfly if we were flying somewhere but sometimes we’ll take the Vista in the car if we anticipate wanting more basket storage or we’re going somewhere where we’ll want to be able to have the seat facing us rather than out. The Uppababy bassinet was great and we used it every day for the first few months, but then he started getting more interested in stuff around him so we switched to the regular seat with the Uppababy infant insert. We probably could’ve just used the insert from the start but the bassinet was more relaxing for everyone early on.

I loved the vista as a single. I didn’t find it too heavy but maybe a tad bulky but what a lot of strollers are. Its easy to push, good in the suburbs and even on some packed dirt/gravel. Fine in stores too. If you dont care about it being a double id look at the cruz.

We have a high end stroller (uppa baby vista with a rolling board attachment for older kids), a cheap travel system stroller for easy clicking of the infant car seat, an umbrella stroller for travel, and a wagon. Each stroller has it’s place. The uppa baby is heavy, clunky and barely fits in the trunk. It’s hard to close while holding a baby. And i’m not buying a $600 mesa or britax compatible infant seat

Uppa baby is good because it is modular and has many optional accessories and features enabled to make it more weatherproof and comfortable and customizable straps and accessories to attach different car seats or blankets or rain cover. The vista is good for multiple babies to consider for the future. The vista v3 newly released has MUCH better wheels now than the v2 that over gravel or uneven roads would just stop suddenly or be awkward to manoeuvre. But still i know many people go for the cruz option is less bulky but still good overall to use. If you want a travel system to stow away as a carryon the minu v3 is good but you need accessories to get car seat attached to it and you’re limited to only forward facing seat and car seat is rear facing.
