The brand is Valco Baby, the stroller is called Valco snap ultra duo. I believe its an Australian brand. It comes with the bassinets and regular sitting seats for toddlers. It also folds really easily so it fits even in a small car
Valco snap ultra duo. It's amazing
I have had three uppababy prams; vista, Alta (old version of Cruz) and minu. I’ve also had a bugaboo donkey and a valco ultra double. I love love love my vista BUT hated it in double mode. As a single it’s brilliant but I think if I were to do it again I would just get a Cruz. My kids were also further apart than I expected (3 years) so it might be different if you’re having them closer together and your first isn’t as big. I could fit a massive load of groceries in the basket and it was awesome. The minu I also really love, it’s probably been our most used. It’s slightly bigger than most travel prams and as such it can also handle more. It fits heaps down the bottom too, a large backpack + extra. We took it to Japan with us last year and it was awesome, handled everything we threw at it. The trade off with it being much more sturdy is that it cant be brought on as carry on. Both the minu and vista are 7 years old and still going strong (obviously we haven’t used them every single day for that whole time) We got the donkey second hand because we were using a lot of public transport so didn’t mind the space. I never once put it in my car. It drives soooo nicely, but it’s not as intuitive to use as the uppababys and it also doesn’t fold nearly as flat. The valcobaby was awesome too, I loved the lay-flat seats, so awesome for a young baby and the canopy coverage was amazing. It didn’t drive as nicely as the uppababys or the bugaboo but it’s also much much cheaper. It folded super flat too. I was very impressed. The Alta I only really got because I wanted the yellow bassinet that came with it and it was only $30 total but it lives at my in-laws weekender as a spare. And it’s definitely well worn but still works The new uppababy Cruz has lay-flat seats very similar to the valco but also has awesome storage similar to the vista (not quite as much). I’m seriously considering getting that for the next kiddo but just depends haha. Let me know if you have any more questions about any in particular
I have had my vista for 6 years and absolutely love it. I love the giant basket in particular. Main issue is that it feels heavy to drive in double mode. But it’s fantastic in single mode. It’s like a single pram that can be made into a double. Whereas the donkey (I bought a secondhand one when I had two kids in the pram) feels like a double pram that has a single mode. Unless you’re having twins or kids super close together I would also put the Cruz on your radar with the view to potentially get a separate side by side pram. Something I have changed since first starting parenting is getting things for a potential future we don’t yet know. We changed so many things so often (e.g moving from a house, to an apartment, to a house and then back to an apartment 😅, and also kids were further apart than I expected) I would recommend getting the best thing for *right now* and considering things like being able to convert to double mode as maybe a tie breaker when choosing between two great options. We have actually used the vista fully, we’ve had a lot of years where we were close enough to walk to the supermarket and I fully loaded that basket, to the extra length was something we used. But not necessarily something we needed considering I didn’t need to use double mode as much as I thought and I didn’t love it. We also had a valco there for a little bit and while it didn’t drive as nicely as the bugaboo, it had quite a few features I loved, like lay-flat seats and an amazing canopy. So that’s another great options that’s a bit cheaper for if you want a side by side laterx
There’s a huge range but for example Valco ultra and city mini gt are both mid range and fine but not as good as bugaboo.
Side by side, Valco makes amazing ones. All the stacked ones (Vista, mockingbird) are like trying to drive a boat, are nearly impossible to get into a car and require the smaller kid to be on the bottom which is just dumb.
Side by side. Tandems feel like trying to drive a boat and they handle like absolutely garbage. Plus your eldest will be in and out more and that is gonna be a pain cause they have to be the one closer and higher up. Valco is a fantastic side by side brand. Absolutely love mine.
I got a side by side because I tried using the single to double for like a week (Vista) and damn did that thing suck as a double. Steered like a boat, couldn't see my youngest on the bottom and had to practically dismantle the whole thing to get it in my outback. Got a Valco side by side and love that thing so much
I do all three (I watch my nephew weekdays so need to have the ability to do 3 which only that wagon manages) and if I had to pick only one with two kids I'd go double side by side stroller that you can clip a car seat into. The one I have (Valco) it's quite light weight and very easy to get in and out of the car. It's also easy to push and thin enough I can get it through most doors (it's as wide as a standard wheelchair so the ADA makes it so I can take it most places) Whatever you do don't get a top/bottom double. They all steer like shit once you've got two kids in them
Seconding the valco. I'm in Western MA but in and out of the city often with a giant 3 year old and the Valco is fantastic.
Yep I'm using a ring adapter on a Valco with an UPPAbaby car seat and it works great
Baby trend snap and go double stroller. Light weight and you can easily transport them in their infant carrier to wherever (we used chico KeyFit 35 with them without a problem). Con - doesn't steer the greatest Favorite stroller- valco baby side by side double stroller. Rides like a dream. They can definitely grow into in. Love that it folks early and the seats fold in. Comes with a handy travel strap. And only ~27 lbs which is on the lower end for other side by side strollers. They can definitely use this stroller for several years. Cons - tad pricy but so are others. Absolutely love it
side by side hands down, i hate stacked strollers tbh i have a valco duo and love it
I was ride or die for my Valco Twin stroller. Side by side but fit through a standard doorway, huge basket, massive sunshade for each seat, seats recline almost flat and are safe for newborns, very light for a legit stroller. Seats were also huge too so my 98% kiddo used until 6. I took that thing to multiple countries and can’t say enough good things.
I got the regular duo!
Valco baby duo or whatever their new one is called. Fits in every doorway. Best purchase!
The valco duo was great even in stores. We lived in a city and used it everywhere. It was big enough to have room for both but narrow enough to fit through pretty much every door and aisle.
