When we had our first kiddo the person at the “fancy local baby store” said “everyone in San Francisco has at least 2-3 strollers” and I thought “who are these fancy people with all their disposable income and tons of storage space.” I will say this salesperson DID NOT try to upsell us on strollers and suggested we get the UppaBaby Cruz V2, I was more than willing to buy the Vista V2 but gave us good reasons to not get the Vista (even if we were planning on having a 2nd kid less than 3 years after the first.) Which we keep in and our door locked vestibule area. 6 months later we bought a travel stroller, Nuna TRVL, right before a cross country trip because we realized how bulky it is to travel with the CRUZ V2 after having to put it in/out of our Subaru trunk area, and it had the convenience of not needing an adapter when using our Nuna Pipa car seat. We keep the stroller in the trunk of our car when not flying. 2 years later we now had 2 kids and bought a VEER CITY wagon 4-seater (during an Annual REI 30% sale), we originally bought the adapter to click in the Nuna Pipa car seat for the newest addition but that kiddo was not loving the car seat so much so we bought the additional SwitchBack seat with newborn inserts (which were not used for that long). We keep this one in our garage, and use it for longer local trips on foot. Before we got the stroller wagon we considered a double stroller and even considered an e-stroller double stroller because a hill we tackle daily is a 14% incline, but after a lot of back and forth between a double stroller versus Stroller Wagon, but realized the extra carrying capacity of our Stroller Wagon is helpful for us, and hoping we’d get maybe a few more years of usage out of it versus the carrying capacity/weight limitations of a double stroller. I also realized I’d rather push the stroller wagon or the Cruz V2 up a 14% incline with the weight distribution versus a double stroller (in any of the available configurations on the market.) We also added the stroller board to our Cruz V2, but usually we baby wear the youngest if using the Cruz V2 or Travel Stroller if we have both kids, because unlike Rose in Titanic our Toddler WILL NOT LET GO OF JACK (Jack being the stroller seat) especially not for the baby.
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->Mine are 2 and 3 and we have 4 strollers still although we just sold out Vista double this year. We have a Veer XL wagon as well as two Cybex travel strollers. I also have kept our Doona since we plan to have a third baby
r/Mommit • How many strollers do you have? ->We have a three-year-old and our twins are 8 months. We almost always use our Uppababy Vista. Most of the time the twins are just attached in their Uppababy car seats. They love the seats when we use those. We also have a Silver Cross Double Jet and it’s wonderful for flying and just a great lightweight double stroller. We also recently bought a Veer XL so that all 3 kids fit comfortably.
r/parentsofmultiples • What stroller to buy? ->We have a veer wagon and use the car seat attachment for the newborn. We love it! We figure this will give us the most bang for our buck over the years when the kids are over the stroller. Plus we can use it at the park, sporting events, etc., even when they are past stroller age
r/2under2 • Best double stroller?? ->Veer has a stroller you can make a double or a wagon. It’s not cheap but we love both of them but will say the wagon is our go to.
r/2under2 • Double stroller with large wheels? ->I have the Veer City Wagon but we haven't traveled with it. I might consider doing their vallet service in the future but we have been fine with the Babyzen and buddy board. It has worked really well with a toddler carrier with the one year old as a back up
r/toddlers • Best double stroller for 4 year old and 1 year old? ->I have a bougie Veer wagon that my sister in law spoiled me with and it’s great for when you use it but so friggin heavy and takes up the entire trunk. I use it for walks in the park or places that require lots of walking that i know the kids will get tired for but it’s so worth it if you are going to use it enough. I dont get enough use but it IS pretty cush when i do use it.
r/Parenting • Stroller Wagons Worth the Hype? ->I think it depends what activities you do and how big your car is. I walk and run, so a thule jogging stroller with a car seat adapter made sense. You can't run with a baby, but I bought it knowing that when she was old enough, I could jog with it. It is tough(big!) for running errands, so I bought a cheap tiny chicco umbrella stroller when baby could sit up.. the thule RULES though. If you aren't trying to shop with it, it is great and easy to push. It could fit in the trunk of my car, but both wheels had.to be removed. I just had another kid, so I bought a dual baby jogger running stroller but it doesnt have a car seat adapter, and although rated for newborns for walking. - that is a joke and I dont trust the harness. It was on sale, so that was the only appeal really. I now walk when I have both kids with a veer wagon (cruiser city)..but I need a huge suv to transport it. The wagon is pretty great on pavement so far. It is pricey, but I do really enjoy it so far. I us ea car seat adapter and my toddler chills in it. I plan on using it for times there is ample space (zoo, beach, parks, etx)
r/NewParents • Strollers ->We use our veer wagon daily and absolutely love it. My 20 month old chooses the wagon over the stroller every time. She loves the freedom (while still keeping her inside with seatbelts) and viewpoint it gives her. Currently pregnant with my second and it has attachments that allow for an infant to use it as well! My parents have a cheap radio flyer wagon and they also are obsessed with it for the grandkids. We use it for neighborhood walks, zoo trip, even trips to the grocery store. Definitely get a veer over a wonderfold. It’s significantly lighter and easier to break down, plus much easier to steer and maneuver.
r/Parenting • Stroller Wagons Worth the Hype? ->I have both and use both, but you definitely don’t *need* both. I have the ergobaby metro which is amazing for flying because it fits in the overhead bin so no risk of damage by gate checking it. That being said, I used our uppababy travel system constantly when my daughter was first born. Popping her car seat in and out of the stroller for errands was significantly easier than lugging the car seat in the store and/or taking her out of her car seat to go in the store. Plus the bassinet attachment was so nice for neighborhood walks at the beginning. It comes down to your lifestyle, what’s important to you from a convenience standpoint, and your budget. I still choose the uppababy over my ergobaby metro unless we’re traveling because it’s a smoother ride and my daughter seems more comfortable in it. Honestly she prefers our veer wagon to all strollers anyway so that’s also an option (has a nap system attachment that turns it into a bassinet) and your baby will enjoy that for many years to come. You can also find a lot of strollers second hand for very reasonable prices and the resale value is pretty good.
r/BabyBumps • Do most people have and use both a regular stroller AND a travel stroller? ->We had a Yoyo, Thule jogging, mockingbird, and Veer. Used the yoyo 90% of the time, the Thule 5%, and the rest 5%. We have one kid and a car, so once able, we used the infant car seat clipped in to the yoyo and the Thule. We were the types who kept the stroller basket empty. We didn’t need the capacity of a full size stroller, didn’t think the ride was substantially better, and didn’t like maneuvering it through stores and restaurants. The Veer wagon is just too big for the city so we only used it for trips and things like apple picking. Our kid was out of a stroller completely at 3, and if we were going to be out for long periods of time we’d take his scooter and I’d just push him on it.
r/nycparents • Tell me your stroller stories, regrets + successes! What stroller did you start out with, and what stroller do you use now? Can you really use a travel stroller as your only stroller in NYC? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
