One child as of right now, 17 months old. One Baby Trend jogger stroller we use for hiking. One regular everyday Evenflo stroller that can also be a bassinet-type thing. Our infant seat clipped on, too. One Cosco umbrella stroller. One Wonderfold L2 wagon, the bougiest thing we own. lol No regrets overall! They all have their place.
Iād do the double personally! We have a wonderfold and still get TONS of use for our double and I think they have pretty different purposes. I love my wagon for the farmers market, school events, museums and the zoo, and my double for just about everything else. We didnāt cave and buy a double until baby 3 & 4 and I wish I hadnāt held out so long.
+1 for Happy Hollow lol. We used to get stopped all the time and asked about our Wonder Wagon!
I would LOVE to have received the convertible car seat of my choice. It would have been around half the budget youāre looking at, so adding a crib to it would also take some stress off my plate as well because most cribs I was looking at were under $400. Thatās 2 big items off the list. The convertible seat is often more expensive than the infant seat and offers longevity but also offering to buy one of the items and then presenting with the balance in cash would also offer a ton of flexibility in what sheās wanting. Personally, I love my Evenflo 360 seat, my bougie Cybex stroller, my bougie wonderfold wagon, and my convertible crib. Iām on my 4th kid and the crib has never been converted past a toddler bed but itās been used over and over and over again. Itās getting ready to welcome its 4th occupant and didnāt have the chance to be used as a toddler bed this go around. I also love my pack and play (I got the mini one that converts from bassinet to toddler bed with the zipper entrance this time), baby carrier, and bouncer. You might just check out her registry if sheās got one and snag several of the larger items and have them sent to her house.
I never used a snap and go stroller with my singletons. We always just carried the car seat or I baby wore. I tried to not get another short term use stroller for the twins, because we had other double strollers that would work. It took 2 weeks of preschool drop offs for my oldest (into the school and out- not just drop at the curb) for me to realize that carrying two car seats wasnāt going to work long term for those quick trips in and out. Ā I got a cheap double snap and go from Marketplace, and we have a Mockingbird for when theyāre a little bigger. Ā And a Wonderfold for when we need something for all 4 kids. (Basically a fleet of strollers now..)
I have a wonderfold and the nuna trvl dbl. So I side by side and a wagon stroller. I like having two options.
