I couldn’t use my vista as a double. My oldest is very tall and couldn’t fit in the lower seat, which is intended for the older one. We quickly moved to the Zoe double, which I love.

We use the Zoe regularly as our double with a 14M age gap. We are people who fly 3-5x a year and go to Disney a lot. It is a very utilitarian and lightweight-ish stroller. The seats recline separately and have good canopies. When we travel, we use the regular belly bar and fold it up, but the snack bar is our go-to. It is a little annoying that it isn’t separate and is one big piece. I highly recommend that you get the stroller bag for this because we are able to go out without a diaper bag (one kid is 3 now). We just throw a changing pad in the bottom and extra diapers and snacks in the stroller bag. We did not get the all-terrain wheels, but I’d recommend them if this is your only double. We also have the Uppababy Vista and we have used that for tougher terrain since we own it already. I don’t recommend it as a double. We also own a very old City Mini GT double as a hand-me-down. That thing is a monster and it is so heavy! It feels like Zoe took a look at what made that stroller successful and improved upon its flaws.

We rented the Zoe double when we went to WDW and it fit my 18 month old and 7 year old. Recommend if you’re looking for one that will last a while and with an age gap. My 18mo is small (20th percentile) but smaller kiddo would be okay in it. It fit between doorways just barely, had great canopy, and maneuvered well. So you can definitely look into rentals which is a great way to test them out. I’ll also say it was a little hard to navigate not being used to the size and sometimes I wished we had 2 singles so we could split up or walk single file better.

My boys are 16 months apart. We got the Zoe double stroller and we like it. It’s really light weight and folds up easy.

We recently bought the zoe double stroller for my 3 year old and 11 month old and its the best stroller! Its light, easy to fold, and turns smoothly. I preferred this over our mocking bird and graco strollers. My 7 year old nephew would take breaks and sit in it too so i feel like it will be good even as the kids get older.

I love the zoe stroller for my 3 and 1 year old. We have the double one but there is also a single version. It moves very nicely, is lightweight, and folds easily. It has a 60 lb weight limit. Their 7 year old cousin takes breaks sitting in it comfortably.

There’s a very big difference between a baby walking and walking well enough for public outings. I have a 19 m age gap and couldn’t imagine not having a double stroller. Even if you don’t have both kids strapped into it, it’s nice having the option as inevitably at one point during the outing both will want to be in it. I actually just did an event with my friend who has a 5 and 3 yo and had gotten rid of her double stroller already and so we put her 3 yo with my 1 yo because he got tired halfway through. A stroller is a safety and containment mechanism as toddlers learn how to explore the world. It’s also nice being able to feed your toddler snacks in it while you’re out if they get to the age where putting them in the stroller is a battle (though mine is almost two and doesn’t care being out in it still and they started walking at 12m). I’d recommend the Zoe! Very compact and lightweight for a double and great storage!

I have 3 strollers. 2 kids (almost 5 and almost 3) we have an UB Vista (never used as a double, still have on hand for if I’m solo with my youngest. We have a Zoe double for travel/errands and a Thule Urban Glide 2 for long walks near home. I can’t get myself to get rid of any of them even though we hardly use them anymore lol

We’ve had the Zoe double since our kids were 3 months old and 2 years old. It’s great and was amazing on our Disney trip when the girls were 3 and 5. We’ll be using it again next year when the girls are 4 and 6. Very comfortable and easy for them to get in and out of. Lightweight and easy to push and maneuver. All of that being said, given that you struggled to have your second kid and now have a 4 year age gap, unless you travel frequently, I would not buy a double stroller for over $500 for 1 trip under the hope that you’ll have a 3rd kid. I would rent a double stroller for the trip.
