3F UL GEAR - Taiji 2

Take a look at 3F UL Gear too. I’ve got a Taiji 2. There’s a Taiji 3 now. Doors on both sides, which is absolutely crucial if you need to pee at 3am. https://3fulgear.com/product/freestanding-tent/taiji3/ That said, I’d try to find a 4-person tent for 3 people. And regardless of brand, seam-seal the hell out of it.

I have the Collins Outdoors Taiji 2 tent and really like it. I've only used it a few times but it's really well made and easy to set up. 

The Taiji 2 from 3fulgear would probably fit the bill, 120cm height, weights in at 1950g and costs £159.85 you can chose either 3 or 4 season inner depending on needs

I have a 3F UL Taiji 2. It's by far the roomiest 2-man I've used and also pretty lightweight. I got it direct from AliExpress for about £160.

I'd get a Taiji over the Star River if you are buying a Chinese tent. Much stronger. If you can afford it though, I'd get a mid (Duomid, Pyraomm Duo) if you use trekking poles, or a Scarp if you don't. Not sure of your budget however.

Hubba tent has a single top tube, this design is made to be lightweight but it cannot withstand wind. You have to choose tents with another type of construction: half barrel designs (papa hubba type but smaller ones), two arches crossed two times designs (elexir type) or several arches forming a dome designs (3f ul Taiji and it's Hilleberg original).
