Mammoth-Analysis-540 1.0I’ve loved my Black Diamond Highlight 3P as a standard workhorse. I’ve used it for backpacking and summiting mountains for 8 seasons and have never had an issue. It’s light enough for me to carry by myself when I’m climbing with my daughters or wife, and it has plenty of room when the weather is bad. I also use a BD First Light 2P for solo trips, or winter camping. I purchased a BD Beta Light 2P this winter and am really looking forward to getting some trips in this summer, at under 2lbs.
Puckfishfan 1.0Big Agnes the 2024 editions and older can be found 40-50% off through Amazon and tough to beat as others have said here. I’ve done it few years back with 2 kids in a black diamond hilight 3p and that was ok - bit cramped - sold that one. Just got the Samaya 3.5 (non dyneema) from Alpinstore and is awesome space but pushing 7-8lb which definitely not lightweight.
