I have the 10 person instant setup dark room Coleman for my family of 4. It’s not technically 2 rooms but it has a fabric divider you can use to separates one side from the other effectively making it like 2 rooms. A huge plus is it blocks out most light which should make it easier for the kid to nap. It’s also much quicker to setup than a traditional tent. It has 2 entry/exit points but I’d consider this a plus since it gives you options. I previously had a Wenzel tent which did have 2 rooms…it was an OK cheap tent but would highly recommend the Coleman over it.

I have a coleman instant cabin for 10 people for myself. Core makes some also. They are easy enough by myself. Take your time the first few times. Then it will get easier.

Go for a blackout tent if possible. This was my upgrade last year and it worked great. This is 10-person, but definitely not comfortable for 10, and is better suited for 6. [Coleman 10-Person Blackout Tent](https://www.coleman.com/camp-sports/tents-by-size/10-person-dark-room-instant-cabin-tent-with-rainfly/SP_270937.html) I cannot stress enough that blackout makes a huge difference. You'll get an extra hour or more of sleep each day.

My setup is a 10'x20' Costco carport with a Coleman 10 person pop-up tent inside one half (with mesh windows zipped), and the other half of the carport has a rug/carpet floor with a table, a couple chairs for a simple living room of sorts. All under $500.

I'd choose the rectangle one over the dome. Domes in my experience are harder to keep dry. Also limited headroom. I have an instant up 10 man I got from Sams Club and would highly recommend that one. The rectangle one said set up was 20 minutes. Domes are usually longer. My big instant up takes 2 minutes from being spread out to it is standing fully. Same taking it down. Super quick. Plus has stood up great in storms. So might look at some instant up styles.

Get an instant up tent, my huge 10 x 14 can be put up solo by me in 2 minutes after spreading it out. Amazing advance in tents. Used to take me 45 minutes for my old dome tent and those annoying tension poles. You don't need one as big as mine (though my friend and I use it all the time so loads of room) but no need to spend $$$ on a tent. I've used mine for 5 years now, been thru 2 bad storms and still in perfect condition. got it half price at end of season at Sams so great investment for $99. Fly works great. No leaks.

We use a 10 person Coleman instant tent It is easy to set up and break down, it does have two separate entrances, you can put a rainfly on it but any tent is as waterproof as you make it.

Coleman 10 person lighted. Have to get it when Costco stocks it, but it’s a solid tent

3, a solo lightweight, 2p normal and I just got a new - Coleman "Instant Up Darkroom Technology 10 Person Tent", which is a game changer!
