I have the Coleman cabin with the full closure / waterproof front and I love it! It’s survive a few rainstorms and kept us dry. Very spacious and easy to set up.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->If the budget can afford it, stepping up from the Coleman Silver to the Gold/Northstar range is a significant increase in quality and experience. Treat it well and it will last for years.
r/OutdoorAus • New to camping, need help picking up a 6P tent ->Just get a Coleman easy up and be done with it honestly
r/camping • Tent recommend to fit 3 people on cots? ->Another vote for Coleman Instant up 4P, or maybe 6P for 2 people! I camp solo, and am a shorty, can easily setup in 15 mins, and fits in smallish car!
r/OutdoorAus • Newbie camping tent ->I have the Coleman instant 6p tent. It fits 3 twin air mattress’s or 1 queen 1 twin. I’ve used it solo, and with 1-2 others. Easy set up. Does not come with the rain fly. Repacking is not fun, but found that using straps helps getting it back in its case. Hope this info helps. And it’s tall enough to stand in. Also might want to look into the canopy type tent that has the tent attachments that go around. And allows room to hang out in the middle. Double the tarp size for top cover and the ground tarp same size as the bottom of the tent.
r/camping • What should I look for when purchasing a tent for 2-3 people? What should I avoid ? ->I just bought Coleman 6p instant up and used it for the first time this weekend, family of 4 with two young kids. Very happy with it, size is right for 4 of us, I definitely would not want to squeeze into the 4p version with 4 of us. I can set it up by myself in about 20 minutes with all the guy ropes out etc. So far so good and would recommend it. Check that you can fit the packed up bag in your car, it is quite long.
r/OutdoorAus • New to camping, need help picking up a 6P tent ->Used Coleman Instant 6P for scouts trip, legit 1 min setup, zero stress, tons of gear space.
r/camping • Tent recommendations for kid but has to be special kind?? ->I third this as long as you are car camping. Where you only have a very minimal walk from where you park to where you put your tent. For a newcomer/1st time these tents are fantastic. They go up in a minute or two. They are well-made. They’re quite tall in the middle and in the 4P will give you extra room, with near full head height depending on how tall you are, and a secure zip so no critters can get in. If you’re feeling really luxurious get the 6P so you don’t both have to share one air mattress which makes the other bounce around all night. If you want a backpack-able tent, consider a three man, 3 season tent with a fly, but where the tent attaches to the poles with little clips, rather than having to thread the poles through sleeves. It just is a lot easier to put the tent up that way. And again, if you are car camping, there’s nothing wrong with bringing your bedding from home to ensure you have a warm night. I would lay a blanket or sleeping bag down as my top sheet and then have a blanket/doona or unzipped sleeping bag as my top layer. I use my actual big and lovely down pillow from Home as well. But if you are backpacking, consider a three season sleeping bag that is lightweight but still warm. And if you are taller or bigger, get the oversized ones so you’re not scrunched up like a caterpillar crammed in a cocoon all night. It’s a tiny bit of extra weight, but the extra comfort is worth it in my opinion. And finally, for that extra bit of extravagance, if you have the money and are car camping buy the instant up gazebo. Put it up right next to your tent opening for some shelter so you can step right out of your tent and be undercover.
r/OutdoorAus • Newbie camping tent ->The Coleman instant tents are super easy set up, 6 person is nice to have the little extra room for stuff + mattress if you’ll be car camping anyway.
r/camping • What's the best tent for my partner and I? ->This is exactly what I have. It is wonderful!
r/camping • Tent recommendations for kid but has to be special kind?? ->I have a Coleman 6 person pop up tent. I’ve used it for years! Very durable
r/camping • Tent recommendations for kid but has to be special kind?? ->Yer I got the same one it’s wicked
r/OutdoorAus • New to camping, need help picking up a 6P tent ->Have the same tent and set up and take down is so easy, i highly recommend it.
r/camping • Our trip went great! ->This is the way. I have a nature hike mongar 2 for backpacking and a Coleman instant 6 person for car camping. The Coleman feels like a palace with 2 people. Just don’t expect to go 4 seasons with it. Eventually, I’ll upgrade the mongar to a xmid or other trekking pole tent, but for now, I prefer the price and extra width of the mongar. It’s a full 50” and can fit 2 pads comfortably.
r/CampingGear • 2-Person Tent for camping and backpacking ->Absolutely! It’s a Coleman instant 6 person and worth every penny!
r/camping • Our trip went great! ->I have the Coleman 6 person instant tent. Family of 4 (2 adults and large framed 10yo boy and skinny 7yo girl). Fits us a queen and 2 single air mattress with room for backpacks. We love it, use it car camping about twice a year. Easy set, sturdy and holds out water well. We live in North FL. You do have to buy the rainfly separately, but all in all a great tent for car camping.
r/CampingGear • Are instant up tents a gimmick? ->Looks like the ones on C are "instant tents" I have had the Coleman 6 person instant tent for over 3 years and It's been great. It's been on tons of trips and probably a cumulative couple months of camping. Literally takes 60 seconds to set up and is pretty easy to take down. You don't have to mess with putting poles together and fishing them through the tent. My only complaint is that it's pretty large when put away in its bag so it takes up a decent amount of space in the car. Also if you go Coleman, make sure to check if it includes the rain fly. I didn't realize mine did not come with it until it arrived then I had to order the rain fly separately, but not a big deal.
r/camping • I've narrowed down my tent search, let me hear your pros & cons on these please! ->coleman 6 man instant tent. For car camping it is almost perfect. I used mine when my kids were young, toddlers to 9 ish. Set up two cots, with plenty of room to stand and dress or whatever.
r/camping • Car camping tent recommendations ->Pretty sure I have the same one and I think we have had it for 10 years. Use it 3+ times a year too. And some times we rotate to a Core 12 person that’s also instant up.
r/CampingGear • Are instant up tents a gimmick? ->The one touch pop-up then twist to close types can be deceptively difficult to close unless you're used to that twist and turn type. I'm shit at it and broke one so I got an "instant up" type that you can push down to open up squeeze to close. You can see an example if you Google: インスタントアップサンシェード
r/japanlife • Pop-up tents for the kids-any recommendations? ->I got mine at Kohnan like 4 years ago for 6000yen I think? It's still going strong with 2 kids and multiple outings over the years.
r/japanlife • Pop-up tents for the kids-any recommendations? ->Dark room tents were just appearing right after I got my instant tent so I missed the boat, but instant tents are a heck yeah from me. I call them relationship savers. No hunting for tent poles, trying to fit this to there, having to roll the tent tight to get it bagged up. Yes, they're heavy and not meant for backpacking or lugging any distance. They're bigger packed than regular tents, but I can put it up and take it down on my own and don't need to crawl around on the ground for anything.
r/camping • Coleman Instant Up Darkroom Tents opinions and pros and cons ->If your taking tents 1. Black wolf turbo 240 tent is great for 4p plus storage also has a awning it’s up in 30 seconds lots of room to stand up in but by the time you put the fly on and guy everything out it’s a good 30 mins I personally have the turbo plus 300 I had young kids and mum and father in law used to come it’s a massive tent hence me recommending it but if I could do it again I’d get the 240 I’m bias to this tent had it for 12 years never missed a beat and I like the style This is glamping 2. Oztent rv5 a close 2nd for me 3. Coleman instant up These above tents are for car camping only some destinations and sites require you to walk in and you ain’t walking these guys in Swags Want an actual 5 min set up get a double swag ive just recently downsized to darche dusk to dawn double swag plenty of space inside I wasn’t worried about being claustrophobic but I did worry about the sag in the walls and the mattress as my wife has a bad back and she didn’t complain and the walls didn’t seem to sag in for me Really simple and easy to set up literally like a min I feel like you don’t need a bed frame just extra weight and space to carry If your worried at about sagging grab a pool noodle and wack it in the middle like a arch but we didn’t need it To change clothes either lay down in swag or change in car If you need shade or protection from rain either gotta get a awning or a couple hiking tarps tarps (Alton)and guy ropes and poles pegs (groundhogs) Some swags are out of control and they more like a tent and defeats the purpose of a swag which is simplicity so don’t get carried away simple is best Hiking tents Want versatility of both car camping and the ability to walk into a camp because of the destination like newnes plateau hiking tents is the way to go very light simple easy to use and probably for your purpose you would want a free standing tent I would recommend getting a 3p for 2 people for space as 2p is a snug sardine fit I really like the Mont Moondance tent it’s pretty bombproof there is ultralight non free standing which require hiking poles or zflick poles to set it up like the durston x-mid 2 Mont only have one sale a year Black Friday which just passed All of the tents except the swag require mats And sleeping bags or quilts The higher the r value of your mat the more warmer the insulated the mat is and this is the key to a warm nights sleep as the coldness comes from the ground up So get a really good quality mat 1st before the sleeping bag Lights are very important coz you can’t see by the moonlight Get a larger tent for 1p-2p up for the amount of people camping to store bags and stuff inside And an icebox not esky to keep things chilled 40-60l is a good size chill the box down 3-4 days prior to leaving with bags of ice (not meth) from the servo let that cool down and melt drain the water once in a while then chill all the products in fridge/freezer before wack in ice box and top up with ice right after 1-2 bags will do that will last like up to 7 days as long as you draining water out I’ve lasted 2 weeks with an icebox as long as top up the ice and drain water at blue waterholes campground These are things I wish I knew and learnt earlier on and over time Once you start down this path you will eventually own all 3 sets ups like me multiple tents, mats and bags and quilts Enjoy
r/OutdoorAus • SUV Tent Advice ->Get one you can stand in or almost. Coleman ‘’instant tent’’ is not hard to set up. Best by tarp for rain fly so rain doesn’t go in windows
r/camping • Any reason not to get a bigger tent. ->I second this, I've bought 2 Coleman instant up tents and they are perfect. I do have a more hardcore tent but that's for hikes.
r/OutdoorAus • Newbie camping tent ->Only used it once so far but we just got the Coleman Instant. Stayed dry in a huge rainstorm. Up in a minute and much roomier than our last REI tent.
r/camping • Best hub tents? "Pop up/instant" options worth researching similar to gazelle? ->Coleman Instant Tent. We love ours. Ton of space.
r/camping • Affordable 6 person tent ->If casual and your car is nearby, the Coleman instant someone mentioned is awesome. My kid could assemble it in like 5 minutes by 6 years old and it’s tall enough for me (5’4”). Also that bad boy had been through nephews and nieces and drunk friends and is remarkably unscathed. Bonus points: can fit an air mattress. Because sometimes I feel fancy.
r/camping • Tent you can stand in comfortably ->4 man (or up) Coleman. I do not recommend the Instant Up as mine leaks, and there’s an aftermarket rainfly so it’s a known issue. If you have an Ollie’s, check there first
r/camping • What's the best tent for my partner and I? ->The Coleman Instant Tent has a known issue with leaks so they sell an additional aftermarket rainfly. But the other tents don’t have that problem.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->These replies are spot on. My wife and I have a couple options depending on what type of camping we're getting into. Our favorite by far is our canvas bell tent. It's a Biggins and is incredibly comfortable for a long weekend regardless of the weather. In the summer they stay cool, and in the winter a little buddy heater can keep it near 70*f even if it's below freezing outside. If the trip is shorter and weather fairer we'll set up a Coleman instant tent (id love a gazelle though) but what we've been doing more often than not is just sleeping in the bed of our truck under a softopper? with a nice air mattress and a tarp setup in case of weather. It's quick to set up, minimal staking guys if any, it's the way to go if your trip has you moving day to day.
r/camping • Car camping tent recommendations ->How much boot space do you have, the Coleman Instant Up is excellent, BUT takes a lot of room. Quality... a mixed bag, I had a mate who developed a hole in the tent within the first year, and managed to get to replaced. I had an issue with one the the buttons on the instant up pole just giving falling apart. That might just be 2 people, and everyone else is fine!
r/OutdoorAus • New to camping, need help picking up a 6P tent ->Don't waste your money on Coleman tents. Im so very disappointed in both of mine. Im super careful, always use a thick tarp, and mostly camp in established campsites. Both of my Coleman Instant tents have holes in the floor after just 2 uses. Both of them leaked water in a moderate storm. Just get a Gazelle or Core Tent. I have a Core Awning that is 7 years old and still works great. Im just now needing to replace the canopy cover after a stick poked a hole in it.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->I started with a simple dome tent. Easy to put up, but terrible in bad weather. Upgraded to a Coleman instant up. Much better than the dome tent, but much more difficult to pack down. The pole design means they are under twist pressure, and after I'd replaced the third set of poles I decided to go inflatable. Bought a Zempire Evo. Only slightly bigger than the instant up, but the tent design means it stands much taller. The inflatable ribs are super sturdy, can't imagine how you would puncture them. Easy to put up and also pack down. Really happy with my choice.
r/camping • What do you think of inflatable tents? ->The Coleman and the Zempire are both 3 room tents (10 person, but of course not really10 ). The Zempire is slightly bigger when packed but weighs 6Kg less than the Coleman. We do car camping in winter, so size not so much of a factor. Both of them I can put up on my own, but the inflatable is much quicker. When it is up it's taller and wider than the Coleman. We found that in bad weather the Coleman was too cramped whilst we crowded in and kept out of the rain. Double the price of course, but worth it in our situation. Coleman was a real pain packing down - aligning the tent poles so it it could fold over was tricky, and the poles kept breaking. No worry now with the Zempire.
r/camping • What do you think of inflatable tents? ->The removable bottom does not seal the tent. More bugs get in than normal. I will say that I had a Coleman instant tent for 13 years with no issues.
r/camping • Are Gazelle Tents worth it? ->I had a Coleman instant tent for 13 years with no leaks. One trip to the same campground with the T4, leak, and bugs. It made me sad.
r/camping • Gazelle t4 overland ->I am glad you have had a better experience. It leaked. It was too small for me. The door was a total pain. I would never remove the floor either, but that was one of the reasons I purchased it, only to find out that it allowed bugs in the tent. I didn't even use those pockets. It was easy to put up and take down. However, the Coleman instant tent I had for 13 years prior was just as easy and a fraction of the price :)
r/camping • Buyer Beware Gazelle T4 Overland Edition Tent ->I'm glad you have had a better experience. In 20 years of camping at that same campground, I have never had bugs inside my tent. Other than flies. I never said I refuse to use Amazon because I can't return. I do not and will not use Amazon. It has nothing to do with their return policy. The cost of shipping it back was the issue because the manufacturer does not cover the cost of a return. That is why I mentioned buying locally.
r/camping • Buyer Beware Gazelle T4 Overland Edition Tent ->I had a Coleman tent that I used for the past 13 years with no issues until the zipper broke. It was an instant tent, tall, no bugs, no leaks, and plenty of room. I suppose my expectations were high considering my experience with my Coleman and the price of this tent. I am used to the outdoors, but I still don't want bugs or water in my bed. I'm not sure why people are getting so heated. I posted my experience so others will be more prepared. If I had known all that I do now, I would not have purchased it. Someone else mentioned other brands, so im going to do more research and wait to buy until after the season. It will be locally purchased, and it won't be this brand.
r/camping • Buyer Beware Gazelle T4 Overland Edition Tent ->Maybe I did. I used a Coleman for 13 years with no issues, and it was only 129 bucks. I think that is why I was so shocked and disappointed after paying 420 for this one. I'm glad others have had good experiences. I have not and am searching for a different tent now.
r/camping • Buyer Beware Gazelle T4 Overland Edition Tent ->Coleman instant up is the one I have and I love it
r/camping • Tent you can stand in comfortably ->We bought Coleman instant tent last year on sale, super fast setup and take down.
r/camping • Tent recommendations for a couple of senior gentleman? ->I like my coleman instant tent. I use an 8 person for 1-2 people just cuz its so easy to put up and take down Its withstood 20mph constant winds with gusts higher for 2 weeks straight for me as well as other windy dusty rainy situations I use 16 inch tent spikes for the tent and rain cover
r/BuyItForLife • Is there such thing as a “good” tent? ->Oh this one I have covered. Taking two young kids camping solo for years as my wife doesn't like to camp. Colman instant paired with cots. It has poles always attached and sets up like an easy up. Realistically I have it up in less than 5 minutes even with the kids helping and then we can play. I learned the most important factor to look at is easy. Not what's the best or the most sturdy. Nope what's quick and easy that way you actually use it.
r/camping • Parents who camp, need a tent rec! ->Is it a tent that can fit 3 people, or is it marketed as a 3-person tent. I find that you basically have to halve the number of people advertised to fit in a tent to get a comfortable experience with space for gear and to be sleeping without being up against the side walls (which can cause moisture to transfer inside of the tent). Hiking/backpacking tents are tiny to pack and are lightweight. You can get three of them and still have room to spare compared to my Coleman rent that is advertised as a 6 person tent but sleeps three plus gear better than it fits 6 sardines.
r/camping • Tips for fitting 3 people + a dog in a tent? ->As a single adult scout leader I run a 4 person instant Coleman tent. I sleep on my own 95% of the time. In a pinch I could provide room for another leader. I have a 6-person but it’s way too big for me by myself. Before the Coleman I had a 4 person malamoo mega that I really liked.
r/camping • Tent Recommendations for Simple Scout Camp ->I own a 6-person tent for me and one kid. That fits two air mattresses and gives us space to stand, change clothes, keep our bags, etc. I have a Coleman and it works just fine.
r/camping • What's the best tent for my partner and I? ->Dude, my first two tents were coleman. Shit man, I still got them and they still work great. Oldest one close to 15 years. I went from a 4P Coleman to 6P Coleman when I had kids. So if you can get one in good condition or buy it.. go for it. I got my coleman sundome for like a 100 bucks. If you don't want a coleman, you can sang one of these from costco for a 100 bucks - https://www.costco.com/core-6-person-lighted-dome-tent.product.100892929.html Now a days I have a Marmot 6P, recognize that this is 500$ tent. Don't spend this kind of money for your first tent unless you have money to spare or plan on going a lot of camping. The difference between a 100$ tent vs a $500 tent are: - More indoor pockets - High quality tent poles - No snag YKK zippers - Easy to pack bag - better ventilation But from a core tent/sleeping POV, its the same. IF and WHEN you are ready to go backpacking, it would be good to invest in lighter smaller gear. A decent backpacking tent is pretty expensive.
r/CampingGear • Choosing a first time tent? ->Everyone here is saying don't buy this tent - however, I owned this tent and loved it. I spent $80 on a six person and it went through multiple rainstorms a year. It started leaking after 6 years. Up until then, it kept us dry as a bone. Coleman is GREAT entry level and will keep you dry. If you camp a LOT though, I'd go a step up and buy a Kelty tent. I'd get a warmer sleeping bag. For Joshua Tree in December get something rated for at least 30. It gets cold in the desert at night. If you use an air mattress, put a fleece blanket or yoga mat between yourself and your mattress. It will keep you soooo much warmer by keeping you off plastic filled with cold air.
r/camping • Thoughts on this tent and sleeping bag for Joshua Tree in early December ->These are backpacking tents made with material that is lighter and more expensive than typical tents. If you're car camping, a $200 Coleman 6p+ tent will be more than fine for a while. MyLifeOutdoors did a video on YT about a month ago talking about it a little.
r/CampingGear • Gearlabs top 19 tents are all 200$+. One is even over a thousand. Are those of ua getting the 70$ amazon special really buying junk?! ->I’m in the U.S. and Coleman is a solid go to for a first tent. I have a couple of their six person tents and they’ve served me well.
r/camping • Tent recommendation for family of 3 ->I have the Coleman Dome 6 (two of them) and a Core 9P, both have been great. Just left Bennett Springs in Missouri in our Coleman 6P and stayed dry the whole weekend.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->Used to be an avid backpacker before having my son. I use a Marmot Limelight 2P for our scouting trips. It’s been all over and continues to hold strong, great water resistance. Surprisingly after 15+ years of use it’s still going strong and has survived a few years of Cub Scout camping weekends. All my Marmot gear has really held up through the years and adventures. I have a Coleman 6P with a porch area and it’s nice for car camping but not something I would want to take to Scout weekends. It’s huge and heavy, and would take up more space than me and my son need, blocking others who have bigger families.
r/camping • Looking for a 2P tent less than $250 that'll mostly be used for car camping ->Wow, lots of comments for you to sort through, OP! We have a 2p trekking tent and a 6p Coleman that we got on mega sale the morning we woke up to a collapsed, flooded, tarped (under and over) and waterproofed 4p Walmart tent. When my oldest was younger, we went camping with extended family. The cousins wanted their own tent so we packed them up (4 boys and 2 girls 6 to 10yo) in the 6p Coleman, and we squeezed the toddler between us in the trekking tent. Well, we ended up moving to the Coleman with all of them in the middle of the night because they got scared of the wind, the voices, and the coyotes. I'd venture out to say that 6-10yos should probably not camp in their own tent. He's 12 now, and gets the (very expensive) trekking tent to himself. He does just fine, too. We happen to have it so we use it, but if we didn't, we'd buy something that won't collapse or flood, probably between 50-100$ new, absolutely on sale. We've had both tents for over 10 years, use them every summer multiple times, and treat them every summer as well, well worth the investment. Our kid doesn't mind the hand me down, loves to have his own space, and is grateful.
r/camping • Your child is getting bigger, and wants their own tent. What kind do you get them, and how old are they when you first let them use it? ->For car camping I like Coleman 6p tents. They’re heavy but durable. I use mine for 2 adults on a queen sized deep air mattress. Have two dogs, a Shepard and a beagle each with their own beds. Plenty of room for us
r/camping • What should I look for when purchasing a tent for 2-3 people? What should I avoid ? ->I’d go with the Coleman 6p because you can extend the awning. But whatever you buy, make sure you get some waterproofing or a very large heavy duty waterproof tarp.
r/OutdoorAus • New to camping, need help picking up a 6P tent ->Wouldn’t go to big. Honestly 6p is a great mid range the Coleman is wicked. I just upgraded to a 10p Blackwolf 450 and honestly I prefer the 6p and I have a family of 4. We put two double mattresses in the 6p with a bit of room left for clothes. The Coleman also has a small vestibule we had a mat and shelves for medicine books sunblock etc. Takes me about 45mins to setup the 10p with a bit of mucking around the 6p about 20minutes.
r/camping • Any reason not to get a bigger tent. ->This is the way, I did the same thing and regretted it. I guess you really have to experience it before you know. We have family of 4 and 6p was great.
r/camping • Any reason not to get a bigger tent. ->6person Coleman tent. They are inexpensive, and they will last long enough to get your money’s worth while you get the experience to know what you really need.
r/camping • Please help me pick a tent, I've gone down too long of a rabbit hole ->I have a Coleman 6 person tent for family trips. Absolutely fantastic, especially given the price! It has a main room, small “entry”, and then another covered smaller area outside. Makes for taking shoes off real easy and contains the mess to one area.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->That tent is a coleman montana 8 person. I have had 2 of them,.they are very sturdy when all the guy lines are used. It does well in the rain... the fly covers the 2 side windows very well. my only complaint would be the windows are high so there is not much air flow low down. I always bring a small fan so not an issue. The coleman 6 person is what I used last. It was fine after I my dog passed and it was just me. I like to have enough room to stand, and bring a chair and small table inside incase it rains. This one is 10x10' and 6' tall. https://preview.redd.it/vna1vl7a5krf1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c7cb984cda2696f6a6e11b307ce64be9bd89425
r/camping • Ozark Trail Tent Returns ->we are about to replace our coleman 6 person because we've used it SO much. had it since 2016. we bought it for a festival, and it's become our car camping tent ever since. we have kelty, alps mountaineering, and rei smaller tents, and love this coleman for everything, not back country.
r/camping • Good tents that fit at least 6 people that are available in Canada? ->It's not a two person but we have a 6 person Coleman tent my 6 ft husband can stand up in. Let me know if you want me to post the link
r/camping • Tent you can stand in comfortably ->6 person tent will be too small for 2 adults and 2 kids. Get an 8 I use a 30 year old Coleman 6 person. I probably average 20 nights a year with it.
r/camping • Looking for a solid 6-person tent — any recommendations? ->My Coleman 6 person is still going strong after 30 years. I think they're about 200 now
r/camping • Affordable 6 person tent ->After finishing up a trip this past weekend up in Maine I found out that my new 6 person Coleman tent is not water resistant to rain. I’m now looking for a tent that has a separate screened in room to utilize it as a mud room as well as a lounge room when the bugs are unbearable. Looking for quality suggestions preferably under $500. I found these tents below to be a desirable design but am not familiar with the quality or reputation of these tents. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-8-person-hybrid-tunnel-tent-with-screen-porch https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/wenzel-klondike-8-person-tent https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-8-person-hub-tent
r/CampingGear • Looking for suggestions on 6-8 person tent with screen vestibule ->Sometimes you can find 2 good flat spots at a campsite easier than one very large one. For certain ages you would want the kids with you. We have a 6 person Coleman that is comfortable for 4. If you use cots, you can store bags under the cots so that helps with space. Bigger tents tend to be taller too which allows you to stand.
r/camping • Tent for a family of 6 ->Mine had her uncle's ancient 1 person tent when she was like 6. She's a giant so when she got too tall for it a couple years later, we got her a 6 person Coleman tent (free from a work rewards thing, she'd have a smaller cheaper one otherwise) so she can stand up to change in it, and so her bestie who comes with us a lot doesn't have to sleep in a tent with adults
r/camping • Your child is getting bigger, and wants their own tent. What kind do you get them, and how old are they when you first let them use it? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
