I have the Coleman 6-person Fast Pitch Dome that I love for summer/fall camping. I can put it up by myself in 6-8 minutes and it has worked well for me even on some cold and rainy evenings. Makes solo car camping quick and easy but still big enough for friends to join.

Tho I’ve moved on to other tents for lighter weight camping, my Coleman 6p dome tent is still standing 9 years later after 40+ nights. The tarp basin floor always kept us dry in heavy rainfall

I love the Coleman 6 person dome tents. I use them for my Girl Scout troop. If you want to use them in colder temps, I recommend the Darkroom over the Sundome. The rainfly goes lower and provides more insulation.

That tent is a coleman montana 8 person. I have had 2 of them,.they are very sturdy when all the guy lines are used. It does well in the rain... the fly covers the 2 side windows very well. my only complaint would be the windows are high so there is not much air flow low down. I always bring a small fan so not an issue. The coleman 6 person is what I used last. It was fine after I my dog passed and it was just me. I like to have enough room to stand, and bring a chair and small table inside incase it rains. This one is 10x10' and 6' tall. https://preview.redd.it/vna1vl7a5krf1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c7cb984cda2696f6a6e11b307ce64be9bd89425

I have a 6 person coleman dome tent for myself. It would absolutely work for 2 people. I like my space, and if it rains I can fit my xl zero gravity chair in it and not disrupt my set up. I, personally, wouldn't go smaller than a 6 person for 2 people.

We have a Coleman tent and love it! It’s not a cabin tent though, it’s the 6 person dome tent (I think). It’s spacious enough for the two of us and our belongings (we keep our kiddos bags with us too) and it keeps us dry. Our kiddos had a Kazoo tent and it leaked from the bottom. We didn’t have that issue with the Coleman so we bought another Coleman for the kids.

I’ve used the North Face Wawona 4 and 6, along with a 4 and 6 man Coleman.  The Coleman’s held up surprisingly well. They don’t do as well in the wind or rain though.  The NF tents are a much higher quality though. Thicker poles, stronger fabric, better in the rain, better features.  Something to think about is size. The smaller tents are easier and faster to setup. Plus you need less soft. The Wawona 6 has a huge vestibule/ rain fly. It takes a lot longer to setup, and while I can do it all solo it takes much more time than the 4. My 2 and 3 man backpacking tents are even faster. If you are getting in late and go with a normal tent, smaller is probably better.

6person Coleman tent. They are inexpensive, and they will last long enough to get your money’s worth while you get the experience to know what you really need.
