comeout-and-hauntme 1.0This is a great tent, we have used it during a car camping with a total of 5 people and recently for 2 people. It is nice and roomy! It was raining the first time we used it and it held up well. Can take 20-30 minutes to set up- 2 people. We brought a fan (Makita brand) with a battery cuz we are in Texas but pretty happy with this tent.

MimiMyMy 1.0Personally I think this size is perfect for 4 people with a little extra room. Any time they list for X number person tent, they literally mean packed in side by side like sardines so never believe you can put 10 people in there comfortably. And you got it for a great price. Just keep in mind with a larger tent that your campsite can accommodate it.

noldig 1.0My new Coleman is very watertight for now. The tarp idea can work, but when it's raining heavily, it's often also windy. And then the tarp slaps against your tent and is loud AF. I had to do this with my old tent and it took me a few nights to figure out a system with a lot of heavy stones, extra pegs and ropes to tie it down well enough. If the tarp is not big enough to go all the way to the ground and you can put heavy stuff on it, it will not really work well.
