If someone planning to buy 13.6 tent (beige), I have a brand new one for sale in the EU. Used only once.
The tent we got is a Coody 13.6. It's an inflatable tent cabin style I suppose. A lot of people shy away from them because of the word "inflatable" but the good quality ones (which Coody I believe is one of the best, if not the best) are made of really rugged materials that are designed for extreme weather conditions. I won't bore you with the details of it's PVC makeup and Terylene Cotton fabric ,etc. But in inflatable tents, Coody uses really good materials which is why they are so expensive. Put it this way. Not sure if you saw my post on here. But we just recently took it out camping in -21°c and there were zero issues. You'd think in that kind of weather the materials might get brittle and break, or air pressure escapes from the pillars. But none of that happened. Once you inflate the thing the pillars become solid structures you could lean your whole body weight on no problem. We also uses it as a hot tent and put a wood stove in there since it's 4 season and has the chimney hole for it and that worked out nice as well. I do advise people going the inflatable tent route to definitely only buy quality though. There are many horror stories of peoples tents collapsing on them at night while they sleep. That's just from cheap materials. https://preview.redd.it/rq3q7cls7t5g1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f79a09b762d4f0cb4f16e6ddc555a8c9dbe5539
Wasn't that due to a cheap AliExpress tent? Premium inflatable tents hold pressure properly and are built with way better materials. But yeah definitely do not cheap out on inflatable tents. My Coody feels solid, you could literally lean on it when it's fully inflated. The PVC they use are enforced shock resistant and the material is what they use in extreme weather conditions for trucking and construction sites for example. The fker weights over 100 pounds lol. It's not cheap for a reason $2k+
You want good ones that will hold the air pressure. There's a crap ton of inflatable tents out there but most of them are cheaply made with crap materials. So many horror stories of inflatable tents collapsing on people mate so don't cheap out for sure. The most recommended ones are Coody and RBM inflatable tents. Coody being a bit more premium. The materials they use are just top of the line , with the tents themselves built to withstand harsh conditions. I just bought this one myself on sale . Normally $2400CAD, got it for $400 off for Black Friday deals (not sure if that's a thing where you live.) https://preview.redd.it/ygn80uryb83g1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=4bae00874bb9e098615a78c9a650dee63ccc420d
I got the 13.6 one. The koala 7 is bigger, better for bigger families . About 3ft longer I think.
So, yeah, after hundreds of hours of watching korean camping videos on YT, I pulled the trigger to buy a Coody 13.6! https://preview.redd.it/ahcwb2x1in7e1.png?width=900&format=png&auto=webp&s=90200ed75ab281279d449ca162723101a141ca52 I live in Portugal and, unfortunately, Coody doesn't have a representative in Europe yet, so I found Coody Australia. They were very nice and replied to all my questions on Instagram. Besides the tent, I bought the air sofa, the electric pump and an air mattress. Now, it's time for the real suffering to begin - the wait. It will take around 30 to 60 business days for it to arrive. It's being shipped by land, so it will take its sweet time. Hopefully, I'll still be able to have spring time to go camping. It's going to be shipped today. https://preview.redd.it/4w1m3hynhn7e1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=63346c4c0c9754325bdfa9c5164c2042f73f1f26
I’ve been loving the tent. It’s perfect. It fits snuggly in the trunk of a Tesla Model 3 2024, so you don’t need an SUV or a x-over to enjoy it. Beside the tent, sofa, bed and the carpets, we fitted all of this inside the car too! https://preview.redd.it/4migvusplome1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d019e11b01f72de6922f2da3d244cc31a75f9542
Roomy was the first one I was interested, but then changed my mind and went with the 13.6. I actually wanted the Familia one, but I have a Tesla Model 3, it doesn't fit in the trunk with everything else I take for my camping trips (fridge, mattress, bed sheets, duvet, chairs, tables, lots of lamps and LED's, tables, the outdoor kitchen set....). It's almost here though, faster than I expected! They told me in 10 days it would arrive in Portugal! OMG OMG!
Peepz, Portugal had extreme weather conditions and the tent was subjected to lots of rain and 60km/h wind gusts. It remains solid as the day we left it! I'm more than happy with the purchase!!
It's perfect. It's been pitched since February this year. It's been through extreme heat (46c) cold (0c), wind gusts of 70km/h, extreme rain, and it has resisted all that. Size wise, for two adults is perfectly enough. Of course, bigger, the better, but the 17 wouldn't fit in our sedans trunk anyway hehe.
