Check out CORE tents. They have some with a standard screen room and others with a an area that can be used for sleeping or as a [screen room](https://www.coreequipment.com/products/10-person-lighted-instant-cabin-tent-1).
They are good tents. I did well over 100 nights with one before it started leaking at all. Plus the instant ones are ridiculously easy to setup and take down. And if you have a Costco membership they usually have some core tents there.
I’ve had Core instant tents and never had an issue. Easily over 100 nights before any leaking, and I wasn’t taking the best care of it so likely could have lasted longer.
Core 10p lighted tent... fucking amazing. That is all.
I use the Core 10 person lighted cabin tent, bought it from Costco. Its a big tent with built in lights (I just plug it into my power station). Lots of room, goes up super fast. I haven't had it really tested in the rain yet but I don't see why it wouldn't do well.
Always go bigger than you think you need. With a baby that would still be in a crib, I would go no smaller than a 10 person. Need room for the pack and play. A sub $100 tent that you can stand in is going to be poor quality. I would look at CostCo soon. They usually have Core Tents that are easy to put up, are pretty good quality. They usually have a 6 and 10 person tent. The 10 person you can stand in, and the one I got a few years ago has built in LED lights that can be either white or amber for night.
I have 2 Core Tents, one 10 person and one 4 person. Works out perfect. The wife and I have a large tent with standing room, and the one kid who still camps with us has a tent he can get all messy without ticking us off.
I’ve gone through three of these tents from Costco, each had their own independent issues. **First tent:** Grommets on the awning were defective and the poles poked through and ripped them. **Second tent:** QA issue. Ink/dyes from guy lines bled and got onto the exterior walls, it looked like one of the panels was covered in mold fresh out of the box. **Third tent:** Rainfly and exterior walls had a significant waterproofing failure on our first night. I’m happy that others have had good experiences with their Core tents, guess I’m having the bad experiences on behalf of everyone else…
I have a napier sport and its just okay. I have moved to a costco 10 person tent that does not attach to the car but it works better for us. Since we have power at our camping sites for the car, we also bring along a heater/cooler dyson fan thing for the tent and I just sleep in the car with the doors shut.
Everything on the planet has its good and bad. What my personal experience is, I am a UAE-based camping enthusiast. I chose the Core Lighted Instant Cabin Tent from OutdoorLife UAE. The tent was really worthy and very premium compared to the other brands in the UAE. Setup is really quick, thanks to the pre-attached poles, and it holds up well in rain with solid ventilation, so it doesn’t feel stuffy inside.
