The 10 person core will be amazing for you. I've used it for years before moving most of my camping to my pop-up. But I still use mine for the occasional trip.

The 10 person is going to be a god send. I have both and with 4i would go for the larger tent. When you get hit with rain you can simply hang out inside and have plenty of space for the kids. And the dark room helps so much. It'll be good for years. Not only that but buy some cots and 2 inch foam for the top. Much better then any air mattress. If you have a Costco or Sam's club you can get just about everything there for a good price.

I've had two seasons with the Core-4 Straight Wall Cabin tent and it's held up well on the PNW coast \[rain/wind\]. It is not as ruggedly built as my Timberline-2 by Eureka, but for $129 it's a good deal. I'd definitely recommend you get the Core-6 model. It's on sale for $159, but you'll also need a tarp-groundsheet. I also use a cheap \[$35\] tent fly so I can erect a lounging-cooking space out of the rain. \*These Core tents allow standing room. I still use my Timberlane in harsh weather, but it's damn nice to be able to stand inside the tent.

Core 10 person full rain fly is what I went with and I’m happy with it. Quick setup, full rain fly for inclement weather, and space for my family of four. If you’re car camping I’d advise you to get at least double the tent capacity you need. You’ll never regret having more space.

I’ve got the core 10person full sized rain fly tent that’s about 350 on amazon. Takes about 10 minutes tops for us to throw it together. Absolutely love it.

Definitely want to get at least a 6 person tent for a family of 4. Get an 8 or even 10 person tent if you want some decent extra room. I just bought the CORE 10-person cabin tent with full rainfly from Amazon last summer (for a family of 4), but it seems like it's out of stock at the moment. I also have a Big Agnes Bunk House 6 which has served my wife and I pretty well over the last few years (just the two of us). I love this YouTube channel. She does a great job of looking at a lot of different tent options at different sizes. [https://www.youtube.com/@CampingGuidance](https://www.youtube.com/@CampingGuidance)

I have the core 10 person instant tent. Have had it for about 3 years and been pretty good so far. You can also get a 6 person if you want something smaller.

Core instant tents are great. Very affordable, durable for car camping, standing interior height and so easy to put up. Both the 6 and 10 person instant tents have full rain fly versions. Fwiw, the Core 6 person tent is such a better dimension over the Coleman. The Core footprint is rectangular vs the Coleman square footprint. It makes using the space so much more efficient. ** We use 3 cots in our Core tent with walking/standing space between the cots, something not possible in our friends’ Coleman.

Core is my go-to brand. I have that exact one, and it's been through a lot. We added the 6, 9, and 10 person instant tents. We got slammed by big big storms with high straightwinds while at festivals, and afterward, the core tents are always still standing in the tent graveyards.

I have 2 Core Tents, one 10 person and one 4 person. Works out perfect. The wife and I have a large tent with standing room, and the one kid who still camps with us has a tent he can get all messy without ticking us off.

r/CampingGearCostway glamping tent any good?

Get a core 10 person instant up- it’s huge and pops up in seconds. Battery operated lights, def a glamping tent that’s cheaper than this and easier to deal with.
