Core six person tent with screened in porch can possibly work for you. We have one and if it rains extra hard we put a tarp over the porch area for Extra Protection. Not expensive either
r/CampingandHiking • Favorite tent (with windows)? ->Oh wow I never had to have any issues let alone with the floor. Did something puncture through it? Yeah I really like the core tent I have cheaper ones and I have more expensive ones but I do like the space for car camping and like I said we use a tarp over the screened in area so if there is any wind we don't get wet anyway. In the beginning I was fearful that the rain fly which doesn't extend far down would cause issues but it never has
r/CampingandHiking • Favorite tent (with windows)? ->We have Core Equipment 6 person straight wall cabin tent.Easy set up and spacious
r/camping • Looking for a solid 6-person tent — any recommendations? ->I bought a 6 man tent from Costco 4 years ago for $60. There are only 3 of us but it’s nice and spacious. They currently have the newer model but the price has gone up to $100. We camp 3-4 times a year and it’s just starting to get little holes. I have all my backpacking gear waiting for my son to get older so we can do the real deal but for now, it works and it’s so feasible. 10/10 highly recommend.
r/CampingGear • Suggestions on 4 person tent - currently looking at Sierra designs and Kelty tents ->I've had two seasons with the Core-4 Straight Wall Cabin tent and it's held up well on the PNW coast \[rain/wind\]. It is not as ruggedly built as my Timberline-2 by Eureka, but for $129 it's a good deal. I'd definitely recommend you get the Core-6 model. It's on sale for $159, but you'll also need a tarp-groundsheet. I also use a cheap \[$35\] tent fly so I can erect a lounging-cooking space out of the rain. \*These Core tents allow standing room. I still use my Timberlane in harsh weather, but it's damn nice to be able to stand inside the tent.
r/camping • Looking for Tent, Cot, and Camp Chair Recommendations – Camping With Fiancée + Dog ->i have a core 6. too small for a fam of 4 https://preview.redd.it/20cihxunowkf1.png?width=1951&format=png&auto=webp&s=b0b8cab1620d800f28722a212046896594ac2cc5
r/camping • I've narrowed down my tent search, let me hear your pros & cons on these please! ->a 6 person is too small for two adults and 2 kids. i'd go for a 9 or 10 person. the size rating is based on people in sleeping bag sleeping right next to each other like sardines in a can. I have a core 6. Definately too small. 2 adult size cot and a single baby crib. only enough space for 1 person walking in and out. that's with belongings under the cot.
r/camping • I've narrowed down my tent search, let me hear your pros & cons on these please! ->I had the Core 6 person for several years. It's a great starter tent for my two little kids and I, but for four people, especially two that are still growing, go for the 10 person. I guess you can get all four into the six person, but there won't be room for much else and you'll be tripping over each other if someone needs to go pee in the middle of the night or whatever. If the 10 person has a room divider, that's especially nice since they can have their own little area.
r/camping • 6 or 10 person tent for family ->I use a 6 person for just me and my dog
r/camping • 6 or 10 person tent for family ->My suggestion would be not to get anything expensive until you know camping is something you both enjoy doing together along with the dog. For yourself your partner and your pup I would get a 4 person tent, if you don't have to backpack it anywhere maybe even a 6 person tent. When I go with my wife and dog I bring my Core 6 person tent which came from Costco and was pretty inexpensive. Nothing fancy just easy to set up, keeps the outside outside, and has a tough floor for dog nails. Also, it is a good all rounder to have for just occasional camping. Once you decide this is something you want to make a habit of then I would start looking for a tent that fits your specific needs.
r/CampingGear • Best tent and any advice for first time camping trip? ->I use a 6 person for just me and my queen sized air mattress :)
r/camping • 6 or 10 person tent for family ->I’ve had the 6 person just for my 2 large dogs and myself. Definitely go with the 10 person.
r/camping • 6 or 10 person tent for family ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
