Core Equipment - Lighted Bell Tent

How do you care for a tent like this. I bought core 6 person bell tent. Love it. But not sure if it is waterproof. Should I spray water repelling coat on it? I'd put a tarp on it but nor sure what will happen in rain.

I had the Core 6 person for several years. It's a great starter tent for my two little kids and I, but for four people, especially two that are still growing, go for the 10 person. I guess you can get all four into the six person, but there won't be room for much else and you'll be tripping over each other if someone needs to go pee in the middle of the night or whatever. If the 10 person has a room divider, that's especially nice since they can have their own little area.

I’ve had the 6 person just for my 2 large dogs and myself. Definitely go with the 10 person.

If you are just sleeping in it, you can fit in the six. But, if you ever use it to hang during off sleeping hours, get the ten. Inclement weather or pre bed time can wear on you in a cramped tent!

Exactly. A 6 man is perfect for a couple.

I have a Core 6 person tent! We camp frequently when it rains and it has withstood several times of actual storms! It gives us enough room for an air mattress and a side table with room for gear at the botton of our feet. Granted we have put our tarps up when we know the whole camping trip is gonna rain. I highly recommend as set up is about 90 seconds once you get it down! Shes been excellent for years now!

I recently got a CORE 6 person tent and it’s perfect. I’m 5’7 and have a bout 6-8 extra in of clearance when standing up.

We've had good luck with the CORE 6 person tent. I can put it up by myself in less than 5 minutes.
