Spacious vestibule, strong in storms, but rainfly tricky solo.

I took the quechua 3 man XL popup F&B- at just over 2m square, I had space for a camp bed and airbed on top, with space underneath for storage boxes. Only thing I'd change for next time is to have the camp bed rotated 90 degrees - because it's not that tall, my head was almost touching the roof. Also took a camp light, definitely needed most of the time. Temperature wise, phenomenal. Got to sleep till 10-11am every day without having to crawl out, gasping for fresh air https://preview.redd.it/z29lm3izzvaf1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=716ce32c331e62055c2080c42c55eb77b7a19a7b
Quechua 3 man F&B, non XL version. Perfect size for me and my stuff, didnât wake up from the heat once, was bliss. Got mine for around ÂŁ50
I got the 3-man XL pop up from decathlon, was on offer for ÂŁ100 down from ÂŁ140 when I bought it. Plenty of room for a double airbed and all your stuff. Keeps the heat at bay for a lot longer. Absolutely no regrets and wondered why I didnât get one sooner. https://preview.redd.it/12loxaa3huaf1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5be7419d26daf24747dfb3a579e0e2bb52992e6
Dunno about the MH100 XL but the 2 Seconds F&B is neat, and also lighter. Super easy set up that'll even work under a rainstorm. Only inconvenience with Quechua pop ups is their packed size & shape... depends how you intend to carry it. Coleman and Quechua equally got poor durability, which is their major downside. But should do for occasional use like this.
We've got a 3-person Quechua fresh-black pop-up and it's great. It really does set up quickly and break down quickly once you've gotten used to it, and it's very roomy relative to other 3-person tents we've had. That being said: it's very much car camping gear and I don't think I'd want to be in a heavy rainstorm or wind storm in it. I wouldn't take it backpacking: it's far too bulky. But for car camping? It's great.
From what youâre saying, I think youâve made a great call going for a lighter sleeping tent plus a small popup just for gear, those big âfestival palacesâ look cool but get so heavy and awkward, especially by train. If you havenât bought yet, Iâd recommend looking for a 2-person tent that has a decent vestibule (for shoes/bags) and is double-layered for better airflow/venting. Quechua 2 Seconds Fresh & Black is a good options of this use case imo.
