I haven't heard of those brands but I know Decathlon is a pretty reputable brand and they sell a Quechua pop up tent. https://a.co/d/3E7ZJbl

I got it, it’s really good tent for what it is in my opinion, specially the fresh and black lets you sleep longer and fresher, setting up is really cool, but modern tents also don’t need that long to set up. Only downside is high weight (~4.5 kilos) and big packing size, it’s not for backpacking or bikepacking. It’s free standing but i would fix it with some carabiners, so it won’t fly away ;)

Do you travel by foot or by car? It is a wonderful tent in my experience (dark, roomy enough for one + luggage) but maybe too heavy to lug around on foot.

Snag a Decathlon 2 . Don't spend more then 150$ as they were on sale a year ago at my local Walmart. I snagged 3. Gave one away and have one in storage still. Still using the starter one. Fantastic for setting up at night for an easy put up or in the rain . Well worth $100 for the situation and have used mine more times than I can count on my fingers and have lasted festivals and upstate ny rain. Get the one that resembles a tent. Not the circular one when it's folded up. There are some on eBay listed as : DECATHLON tent, 2 second easy waterproof pop up camping tent 2 person, 10 pounds

Looks like a nice simple tent. Two poles - and the tent clips onto the poles (it can be fiddly sliding the poles through sleeves (even if that ends up with a stronger design). Should be fine but you need to test it before you use it. a) You'll be able to get it set up in < 10 minutes once you've worked it out and it's nicest to do that at home when you're not in a rush. b) You need to check it's all there and nothing's broken (zips / stitching...) Or decathlon have 3 man tent's for half the price [https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-mh100-3-person/\_/R-p-308317](https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-mh100-3-person/_/R-p-308317) and if you're near decathlon you can see it for your self. Decathlon tend to be cheap but good for what you pay. [Popup tents](https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-2-seconds-2-person/_/R-p-340082?mc=8784754&c=eucalyptus%20green_smoked%20green) do literally pop up in seconds and you can usually work out how to fold them back up in a couple of hours if you've access to youtube videos - seriously they work fine and cope fine with rain but you need to practice collapsing them or you become one of those heathens who abandons their tents.

Currently have this one. Love it other than my cot doesn’t fit. But it’s dark, and warm. I got it for $30USD. I am going to get a bigger tent but it’s not because anything is really wrong with this one. Just need a little more space.

I own their 2 person tent and it only fits one person plus their stuff comfortably. I'd imagine the 3 person tent would fit 2 people alright with some room for stuff. Depending on how much stuff and room you guys want, a 4 person Decathalon tent would be good. Their tents are great. Bought one last year and it worked like a charm. My only complaint was the amount of space. Me, my stuff and my 5lb dog was fine in it. It would fit 2 people, but we'd be sleeping side by side with little space to store stuff.

My Quechua pop-up tent is 20 years old now and has survived unfathomable conditions. Drunk people stumbling into it; hailstorms; heavy rain; beer showers… perfect festival tent.

This is your answer OP. I’ve owned 5 different Quechua tents as I take groups out camping for fun. The 2 second tent is fine for light car camping but would be disastrously cumbersome for any kind of backpacking.
