If you can find one, get a Eureka Timberline SQ Outfitter 4. I've been camping in these style tents for thirty years in all seasons and they always hold up. The Assault Outfitter 4 is also an excellent choice. My personal tent is a Timberline SQ Outfitter 2 though, plenty of room for just me plus my gear. Unfortunately, Johnson Outdoors is discontinuing the Eureka line so their tents are becoming harder to come by. The good news is the new ones that are still out there are priced for clearance. It's really too bad though, Eureka tents have always been a "buy it for life" item.

I'm not the person you replied to, but growing up my parents had a Eureka 4p tent that was used for backyard sleepovers, family camping trips, etc. They got it before I was born and it lasted for decades. In my early/mid twenties I had a reunion with a close group of college friends where we camped out in the yard of one of our friend's house. A nasty storm blew in and my borrowed Eureka was one of the few tents left staked down and un-torn. **To summarize: longevity, durability, and standing up to high winds**

r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->
