I have a Eureka Desert Canyon 4p and love it. I've had it for 5 or 6 years and take it out 2-3 times a year. I'm in BC, Canada, and it's been in straight up downpours for up to 5 days straight and has never failed me. It still looks nearly brand new, just some paint wear on the poles (where they snap together), minor snags on the mesh, that type of thing, but no rips, leaks, or significant wear. My only complaint is the lack of vestibule. I haven't tried the Space Camp but I can vouch for Eureka's durability based on the Desert Canyon. If I had the storage space I would even be buying a back up for when this one eventually needs to be replaced, since Eureka has shut down and I will really miss it. It's nice having nearly vertical walls so the entire floor area feels fully useable.
You really have 2 requests: Comfortable for 2 weeks, I have one set of suggestions. But you need to fly with it. So that changes my recommendation. We have a Eureka 4 person tent in a tall configuration that we have flown with. There is a similar tent in production called the Kelty Tallboy 4. It is 5'10" in the center which makes it a little more comfortable. Also, while I know a Scout is Thrifty, considering some of your gear to be disposable might be to your advantage: pick up a ground tarp and a camp chair at a Walmart. Gift it to someone who is driving or donate it to a Goodwill on your way back to the airport.
I LOVE my 4p Eureka! tent. Bought it used 10 years ago and just redid the waterproofing and seam seals.
People math and tents get hard. I'd always lean towards one person extra, so a 4p tent. There aren't a lot of light options in 4p tents though. We used a Eureka 4p tent for years, that weighed 8 lbs, and tried several times to find an alternative but never found anything worth it. At the actual 3p level, we have a Nemo Dagger Osmo 3p, that is pretty amazing, but we've only ever used it for 2 people. It's also very expensive, and doesn't seem to go on sale very often.
I’ve got two Eureka’s (2 and 4 person). The two is from 1995. No issues with either
For solo hiking, weight can be really noticeable after the miles. But it depends on what you consider affordable. For years I had a Eueka 4 person tent that was nice and spacious, but was just over 6 lbs. Adding a tarp as a sort of footprint was an extra pound. I just bought a NEMO ultra light that weighs 3 lbs. Doesn't sound like that big a difference, but I'm trying to get my pack from 30 lbs down to 25 or under in order save my poor shoulders on my next hike.
