I think that there only being one really sloped wall isn't bad - good place to put gear. I have a 2p Eureka Mountain Pass, a 4p El Capitan, and an old still-in-the-box [N!ergy 9](https://www.rei.com/product/798442/eureka-nergy-9-tent) with a power pack that was gifted to me and I haven't opened yet!
r/camping • help! purchasing first tent this weekend - snow peak alpha breeze or eureka space camp 6? ->For 2 seasons and then it leaks like a seive I'm gonna go Eureka El Capitan, outfitter series, never failed me yet, been immersed in a puddle
r/camping • Looking for a tent for 4 people and 1-2 dogs, have been rained out EVERY time I have been camping ->I'd just put a tarp overhead. Alternatively, I've been in ridiculous thunderstorms for days in my Eureka El Capitan and my MSR Habiscape and never a drop inside.
r/camping • I need a tent that can handle some rain. ->Eureka El Capitan is a great tried and true canoe camping tent. It’s packs nice and small although it’s a bit tight to get into the bag. For 3 people you’d want the “4man” size.
