I have owned several Eurekas over the years. I still have all of them except my first 3 man, which i gave to my sister(she is still using it, its probably 20 years old, if not more). They get my vote for price and quality. To be fair, i haven't used many other tents because i haven't had to. I currently have a lightweight 2 person, apex 3 person, a 3 person with a large vestibule and now a 6 person as my family has grown.
r/canoecamping • Tent Recommendations ->My family has the Eureka Kohana 6 and have been very happy with it. Sleeps 4 very comfortably and has handled rain well. I’ve seen it still for sale recently so could be a good choice if you can find one.
r/camping • What the best 6 person tent that can with stand heavy rain ->I've been using a cloud up for several years and I'm pretty happy with it. It's light, easy and quick to set up. Downside is only one entrance and the vestibule is small. If you can find a Eureka Kohana, they are awesome tents. I use a 6p as my family tent but the 4p would be perfect for you. I don't love the Coleman tents. I much prefer a full-fly tent. My Coleman leaks like crazy in heavy rain.
r/camping • Looking for a 2P tent less than $250 that'll mostly be used for car camping ->Sportsman had eureka on sale. Snagged me one for a great price. It is replacing my old eureka I've had for almost 40 years. It's wonderful. Almost exactly the 6man. They have 8 too
