"I was at 6 lb 2 person eureka."
Yes ,,, believe it or not. I still have my Eureka Timber line. Nice tent. Haven't had it out in a few.
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->Is it green rainfly and floor with tan sides. Or Brown. If memory serves, I believe there was an upgraded version that was brown. I've got the old tank of a tent Green.
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->Timberline SQ 2XT. Still freakin 6 pounds. Just found it......maybe that's why I didn't get one. Still have my Campmore external backpack. Lol...
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->Absolutely Eureka Timberline 2, 4, or 6… Original, or SQ. They are worth every penny. I fine the 2 man is generally light enough to backpack with. Don’t get me wrong, not “light”, but light enough that it’s doable. Is luxurious if you’re solo…
r/CampingGear • Looking for budget friendly, easy setup A Frame tent like this ->Okay, kind of weird, but I used to backpack with my Eureka 2 person. Loved it. Still have it just in case I need it. But now I also have kids and dogs and a wife so I needed to make an upgrade. I went from my 2 person - 3 season Eureka backpacking tent to the North Face Wawona 6 and I love it. It's an amazing tent. Used to have 2 small areas on the sides of my Eureka tent for gear/boots - now I have a massive vestibule that fits everything under the sun. Amazing (size) upgrade.
r/CampingGear • Eureka Tents best equivalent ->If you like this tent just snag a Eureka Timberline and be happy with a much better tent.
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->True but being the standard issue boy scout tent for a very long time means six billion of them exist which makes them much easier to find.
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->Eureka is a good brand. I had a Timberline that no storm could penetrate. I agree with others that it's a bit heavy for backpacking.
r/CampingGear • Looking for a tent, this price seems really good but maybe too good to be true. Does anybody here have any experience with this tent/brand? I'm looking to camp in semi-wet/rainy conditions as I live in the Pacific Northwest. any other recommendations besides this product are more than welcome :) ->Been using our Eureka Timberline a-frames for YEARS. We have the two and four person (which we use respectively for one and two people, for roomy comfy car camping- not backpacking). They’ve lasted through hundreds of nights in all climates. Yes, it’s gonna get some moisture on the inside of the walls if it’s pouring down rain for hours on end. But these things are tanks. Simple to set up, and just last for a very long time.
r/BuyItForLife • Is there such thing as a “good” tent? ->Eureka Timberline. They're bombproof and dry as shit.
r/CampingGear • 4 Person Tent Suggestions? ->Alps Mountaineering offers similar value and BSA discounts. Facebook marketplace is full of smoking deals on Eureka tents. I just got a Timberline for $30. It was missing one of the end poles. $16 from eBay got me two of them.
r/CampingGear • Eureka Tents best equivalent ->Same, I’ve had mine since 1995ish and it’s held up great!
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->Same - have the green as well! I discovered that tent bc my dad actually had the same one for years, too. It’s a classic.
r/camping • I've never wanted a piece of camping equipment like I want this one! ->eureka timberline, official Boy Scouts tent I could set up in the dark without a light, great in rain
r/camping • Which camping tent is best for 1-2 people? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
