If you can find one, get a Eureka Timberline SQ Outfitter 4. I've been camping in these style tents for thirty years in all seasons and they always hold up. The Assault Outfitter 4 is also an excellent choice. My personal tent is a Timberline SQ Outfitter 2 though, plenty of room for just me plus my gear. Unfortunately, Johnson Outdoors is discontinuing the Eureka line so their tents are becoming harder to come by. The good news is the new ones that are still out there are priced for clearance. It's really too bad though, Eureka tents have always been a "buy it for life" item.
r/CampingGear • Looking for recommendation on all season four person tent for scouts ->Agree Eureka outfitter models are bombproof… and weigh 4 tons
r/CampingGear • Tent- Eureka vs Yanes ->Absolutely Eureka Timberline 2, 4, or 6… Original, or SQ. They are worth every penny. I fine the 2 man is generally light enough to backpack with. Don’t get me wrong, not “light”, but light enough that it’s doable. Is luxurious if you’re solo…
r/CampingGear • Looking for budget friendly, easy setup A Frame tent like this ->eureka timberline. they are discontinued, but still available. they are the prototype for all good a frames.
r/CampingGear • Looking for budget friendly, easy setup A Frame tent like this ->I would not rely on support as they were discontinued a year ago and anything sold is new old stock. that said parts are everywhere and they are fairly bulletproof.
r/CampingGear • Looking for budget friendly, easy setup A Frame tent like this ->Twice as heave as the Eureka Timberline and more expensive too. Timberline might be my favorite tent of all time.
r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->The Timberline's simplicity is enduring. Sturdy as hell and easy to put up. No, it's not a pop-up tent for glampers, but it's easy. I love the design, well ventilated, and easy vestibule too. Helps in the rain tremendously, as you can leave boots outside and they'll stay dry. Mostly lightweight. And the simple A-Frame is just classic. Overall, it's just the tent that works best for me. I have a 4-season, a large family tent, and 2 other dome tents (which I may never use again). Maybe it's just personal preference, but the dome style tents just seem wrong to me.
r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->Eureka is a good brand. I had a Timberline that no storm could penetrate. I agree with others that it's a bit heavy for backpacking.
r/CampingGear • Looking for a tent, this price seems really good but maybe too good to be true. Does anybody here have any experience with this tent/brand? I'm looking to camp in semi-wet/rainy conditions as I live in the Pacific Northwest. any other recommendations besides this product are more than welcome :) ->Lots of unsupported fabric. This will really suck in a strong breeze. A Eureka Timberline, but without the airflow. Whoever designed this never camped a day in their life.
r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->Eureka Timberline. They're bombproof and dry as shit.
r/CampingGear • 4 Person Tent Suggestions? ->My Timberline took me a lot of places. Great tent.

r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->eureka timberline, official Boy Scouts tent I could set up in the dark without a light, great in rain
r/camping • Which camping tent is best for 1-2 people? ->If you can find it, the Eureka Timberline is an excellent tent that our troop had used for years now. It’s been used in 4 seasons and has an optional vestibule that can store a bunch of gear. There is another tent in that lineup that’s actually rated as 4 season, but having as much experience in the Timberline as I do, I don’t think I’d opt for that one, simply because it costs more. We always used a ground sheet under the tent and one of those reflective emergency tarps with the grommets in the corners (not the cheap ones you’d find in a first aid kit) inside to sleep on top of. Reflective side up, and obviously on our foam pads, but we earned the 12 month campers unit badge for as many years as I was enrolled.
r/CampingGear • Looking for recommendation on all season four person tent for scouts ->I’ve had 2 Timberlines. It’s sad Eureka tents are being discontinued.
r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->I would love to find an upgrade for my Timberline!
r/CampingGear • anyone know anything about "The Get Out"?? they have a gorgeous double A frame tent that's making me feel a type of way ->The Ozark Trail a-frame tent from Walmart, but the rain fly doesn’t reach all the way to the ground. I have a Eureka Timberline, but purchased secondhand.
