I use a Eureka Copper Canyon 6 tent. It's big enough for me to sleep on a queen sized inflatable air bed and still have space for a chair or two as well as my stuff. At 6'6"tall, I can stand up with plenty of room to spare. I'd never go back to sleeping in a pup tent. I had been using a four person Eureka timberline, but it was much tighter and one cannot stand in it. I love the house type tent!

Absolutely Eureka Timberline 2, 4, or 6… Original, or SQ. They are worth every penny. I fine the 2 man is generally light enough to backpack with. Don’t get me wrong, not “light”, but light enough that it’s doable. Is luxurious if you’re solo

Eureka! Space Camp 4 Our 4th tent across 20 years. Various types for different needs. Now empty nesters. - Light ‘enough’ to carry a couple hundred yards into a tent plot. - Full rainfly with small vestibule for chair, boots, light gear. - Plenty of ventilation - 3-season - Easy/quick set up & tear down - tall enough to change clothes - large enough to change clothes and store couple of back packs This tent replaced light 3-man tent that my wife and I can barely get in to/out of. It’s really a comfortable size for 2 + gear, easily put up and taken down, and plenty small/light for car camping. And you can stand up if you’re under 5’8”. Also note the matched footprint that’s available for it. They may be closing out this model so you may find a good sale on it. ($200 or less is a great deal. $300 No rip off.)

Twice as heave as the Eureka Timberline and more expensive too. Timberline might be my favorite tent of all time.

The Timberline's simplicity is enduring. Sturdy as hell and easy to put up. No, it's not a pop-up tent for glampers, but it's easy. I love the design, well ventilated, and easy vestibule too. Helps in the rain tremendously, as you can leave boots outside and they'll stay dry. Mostly lightweight. And the simple A-Frame is just classic. Overall, it's just the tent that works best for me. I have a 4-season, a large family tent, and 2 other dome tents (which I may never use again). Maybe it's just personal preference, but the dome style tents just seem wrong to me.

Lots of unsupported fabric. This will really suck in a strong breeze. A Eureka Timberline, but without the airflow. Whoever designed this never camped a day in their life.

If you can find it, the Eureka Timberline is an excellent tent that our troop had used for years now. It’s been used in 4 seasons and has an optional vestibule that can store a bunch of gear. There is another tent in that lineup that’s actually rated as 4 season, but having as much experience in the Timberline as I do, I don’t think I’d opt for that one, simply because it costs more. We always used a ground sheet under the tent and one of those reflective emergency tarps with the grommets in the corners (not the cheap ones you’d find in a first aid kit) inside to sleep on top of. Reflective side up, and obviously on our foam pads, but we earned the 12 month campers unit badge for as many years as I was enrolled.

I’ve had 2 Timberlines. It’s sad Eureka tents are being discontinued.

The Ozark Trail a-frame tent from Walmart, but the rain fly doesn’t reach all the way to the ground. I have a Eureka Timberline, but purchased secondhand.

I'm not the person you replied to, but growing up my parents had a Eureka 4p tent that was used for backyard sleepovers, family camping trips, etc. They got it before I was born and it lasted for decades. In my early/mid twenties I had a reunion with a close group of college friends where we camped out in the yard of one of our friend's house. A nasty storm blew in and my borrowed Eureka was one of the few tents left staked down and un-torn. **To summarize: longevity, durability, and standing up to high winds**

Thank you!! I'm really leaning towards a Eureka 4 person. I like that it can actually fit 4 people comfortably.
