"We’ve had ours for going on 4 plus years I think… ... Been great in numerous types of weather."
"Think im on my fourth year with it. I camp maybe 3-4 times a year. Early spring summer fall."
"Never had an issue when it went through a severe windy thunderstorm when camping other years."

"The footprint of the floor is a square for the T4 hub tent, so you should find the available space easy to work with, even with mattress. ... We have the T4 plus, which is just two squares with a room divider. We use cots and there is room for 5 and the dogs."
"not 4 sided. That way you can setup a table in the middle and still get around, or set up multiple tables on the walls with tons of room."
"I like to have the room and be able to stand or sit in it with a chair shoud it be raining, all while having my pad and bags in there."

"Been through some pretty nasty storms in it. It always stayed dry."
"I have the T3 Tandem for a couple years and love it! I haven’t been in a lot of wind, but certainly rained on and it was great! ... I will always pay higher price to make sure I stay dry inside the tent! ... One trip it started raining around 2am and continued steadily with downpour sessions for the next 12 hours and the inside was dry. ... This tent has met my expectations for sure."
"Hahaha I have never experienced that. It’s a regular tent that is waterproof and rainproof, let alone bug proof."

"I can tell you I just used a gazelle tent in Ottawa last week for six nights with tons of mosquitoes and biting horse flies and everything and not a single bug in my tent at all."

"Downside it’s heavy and big. ... Like the size of a small person in the bag. ... And I think it weighs maybe 30 some pounds."
"a pain to deal with due to large folded size"
"My husband hates the size and weight of the Gazelle"

"You have to make sure to guy out the hubs in strong winds, and the more horizontal the guy line can be the better, or else wind can collapse the hub. I'm taking 15-20mph plus wind. Was in 30-40mph gusts and it held up, but I'd guyed out the hub the direction the wind was coming from with two guy lines, each as horizontal as I could get them, 45 degrees from each other."
"Oh, and I ditched the stakes that came with it and instead use heavy, all metal spike stakes."
"It doesn’t do well in high winds, though"

"Constantly leaks"
"I did have an issue with water seeping in during very heavy downpour. I'm taking several inches of rain in an hour downpour. It would soak in through the stitches around the hubs, and also where the interior mesh bags are on the sides."
"if it's damp enough or pouring enough the seams aren't the best and you can get a bit of water in areas the rain fly isn't."

"the mesh is so tight that the ventilation is horrible in temps over 70."
"poor ventilation"
"My beef with nearly all nylon tents is how they collect condensation. ... I’ve had 5 people and 2 dogs in the Gazelle. All of that breathing made the inside pretty wet."
I have the T3 Tandem for a couple years and love it! I haven’t been in a lot of wind, but certainly rained on and it was great! I will always pay higher price to make sure I stay dry inside the tent! Plus it’s nice because you sleep in one area and have a screen tent already built in to hang out if the weather is bad.
Nope. I read a lot prior to purchasing about waterproofing/resistance rating and this tent appeared to be very well rated. One trip it started raining around 2am and continued steadily with downpour sessions for the next 12 hours and the inside was dry. Only wetness that came in was in the screen tent section I left the side panels up and rain was hitting the ground so hard it splashed up into the mesh sometimes, but wouldn’t have happened if I closed it all properly. I like how the rain fly comes down the sides as wings so you can have air panels open in some areas even in the rain. I don’t want to bother putting up extra tarps for rain purposes. This tent has met my expectations for sure.
The Gazelle T3 has been my favorite as a solo camper. They larger ones. Setup is quick and so is tear down. The floor or tray is removable for easy cleaning. Been through some pretty nasty storms in it. It always stayed dry. Definitely not a backpacking/hiking tent.
Had a Gazelle T3.. love it. Though wished I had gotten a T4 for the space. Had to have my cot diagonal on the T3 to fit. Had a Resmed too though I’m afraid I’m gonna sleep through anything that’ll happen while camping… lol
Started with the t3 and liked it so much I got a T4 as well.
I have a T3 and with the rain fly on it's ok. However, like Loose\_Mission if it's damp enough or pouring enough the seams aren't the best and you can get a bit of water in areas the rain fly isn't. That said It's an excellent tent otherwise.
I also have seperate setups for backpacking vs car camping. Nowadays ultralight backpacking gear is so expensive and thin, that using it for car camping is a waste of its limited durability. These thin materials only have a finite lifespan on them. Given your height, a Gazelle T3 or T4 would work well, those style of tents will have the highest headroom and usable space. They pack up pretty large though, so it depends on your vehicle space.
Gazelles are super fast to setup and offer the best head height. But for a tent that caters to taller folks, the door sucks for taller folks... at 6'1" i'm always tripping getting in and out of it. That Fanttik tent looks interesting in that regards. Setup does require you to "pop" the ceiling up, not sure if your rotator cuff issue will prevent you from doing that. And it's a pretty big tent packed, since you mention limited storage space.
Gazelle tents are pretty awesome but you need a roof rack to transport.
Gazelle t3 or the 4. Awesome tents and extremely easy to put up alone. The biggest drawback is you will need to mount to the rails on your vehicle. Unless you got a pickup.
Gazelle is a good choice and the 6p (the 4p is barely adequate for 1 with a cot and gear because of the lack of straight walls) is probably better but don't know if this meets your budget. Plus, it's folded size is HUGE, You need a truck or sizeable SUV to fit it. It stands at about 5 feet tall when folded down. There have been complaints about ventilation. Their mesh windows are so fine that they don't allow a lot of air flow. As well, the door is oddly positioned and if you have little ones in and out, it could be awkward. You can look at some good Coleman easy up tents that could serve you well.
Coleman Skydome 6 with full rain fly might be worth looking at. I hate my Gazelle screen tent. Constantly leaks, poor ventilation, and a pain to deal with due to large folded size.
We have the Gazelle. It’s built well and all, but the mesh is so tight that the ventilation is horrible in temps over 70. Unless it’s pouring out or massively buggy, we don’t even set it up most times.
Do you have any other requirements, and how will this be used? If you're mostly overlanding or car camping, the best value for the money is a Gazzel Hub tent, but there are downsides, like its weight and size. But I love the fact that I can order replacement parts, including the detachable floor panel.
