This is also my tent, but it does NOT pack small. In fact, it's single handedly the most annoying thing to fit in my SUV because of how much space it occupies.
Gazelle are big and easy to set up, but also don’t fold down very small. The only challenge with their 4P tent is the corner door opening. They have some other gazebo style tents that have a larger more user friendly door opening. I have the overland T4+ that is a double hub style so you do end up with two rooms.
Gazell has some different tents that are nice, but can take up a bit of space depending on how you pack it in your vehicle. I have the T4+, so you do have a two rooms in it. In some ways it can be an easily converted to a 4 season tent if you had a good heat source for it.
It is a hub style tent, made by the same company as Eskimo ice shelters. The roof on the gazelle is mesh, but has a rain fly that would go down the full side. When it does get colder people have put moving blankets or a heavier reflective emergency blanket on top of the tent but under the rain fly. From there a propane heater or diesel heater would be enough to keep it warm. I’m sure there would be ways you could rig up a wood burning stove in there. Their newest version is already set up for 4 seasons with replaceable window inserts with the heat shield for the smoke stack. They also have some that would be more hexagon shape vs square / rectangular.
I have a gazelle tent which is bulky but also nice. I have also looked at the 10x10 ez up canopy tents with side walls or inserts. I know they make some that are 10x15 or 10x20 with side walls. May not be as fully enclosed as some other tents, but gives you plenty of room.
Also recommend a gazelle t4! On a weeklong trip in Oregon we came across a heavily discounted t4. Picked it up and strapped it onto the roof. It ended up storming for a few days and my oldish rooftop tent started leaking like crazy. Decided to just use the t4 for the rest of the trip and loved it. So easy to setup and pack away, very spacious and tall enough for me to stand (5’10), and I don’t need to climb down a ladder to pee in the middle of the night. I basically always opt to just use the gazelle now whenever we’re camping even though I’ve still got the RTT on the roof. The only thing that you might need to keep in mind is that it’s quite long when packed away. Best to be strapped on a roof imo.

On our recent trip we stopped at an REI and found this Gazelle T4 Hub for close to 80% off. Wasn’t really planning to use it as a primary. Just wanted it for friends/place to hang out in. However we ended up finding a leak one night in the RTT and I got soaked. So the following day we just used the Gazelle and man it’s a game changer. So easy to get up in the middle of the night to pee. I don’t have to carry the dog up and down the ladder. And I can actually stand up in it. Soooo easy to open and pack up. I just throw it on the roof and strap it down easy. I’m not sure if I’ll go back to using my RTT tbh.
We have a 4p gazelle. It fits a queen size cot 285) about 18 inches of space on 3 sides. It’s so easy to set up! But heavy! And big! Now to also doesn’t have good ventilation for hot summer camping. The mesh is so thin it doesn’t allow for the breeze to flow through. However with a couple of usb fans it was doable on a 100+ degree camping trip in Kansas. Anyways the gazelle saved my relationship with the ease of camping setup!
Gazelle is amazing! But. It’s very heavy and long so you need a truck or big car to travel with it. It’s over 5 ft in the bag. And not so good in heavy wind and heat. The mesh is very small and not very good air flow. I have both the t4 and small gazebo. The gazebo is about 10 degrees warmer inside it than out because it blocks the air so wonderful fall / spring camping. Not so good in Kansas in August.
I’ll swear by Marmot tents. The ones I’ve had (Halo 4P and 6p) have held up and stayed dry in storms where other people’s tents went down or leaked. I also like the Gazelle 4P for car camping only (it’s big when packed) as it’s super quick to setup and big. So far no weather issues with it, but it hasn’t been through what the Marmots have yet.
I love my [Gazelle T4](https://gazelletents.com/collections/4-person-tents/products/t4-hub-tent-alpine-green-1) and at 6' tall, I can stand up with some room to spare.
I'd buy another T4 all day every day and twice on Sundays.
This is the way. At 6'0", I can stand without being hunched in my Gazelle T4.
Same! Well under 10 min. set up/take down and can easily stand inside, easily my favorite tent I've owned.
I love my T4 but I honestly can't say that I've subjected it to anything other than pretty decent weather.
