"Super easy. ... Took about 20-30 minutes"
"sets up in under 3 min including stake out time. ... Take down is just as fast and it fits in its storage bag with out much fuss. ... set up in under 90 seconds 120 if you putting in stakes."

"It stood up to a tornado i got hit with on my last backpacking trip in missouri."
"it literally survived a tornado while set up. I just had to stake it back down."
"surprisingly solid tent for hunkering down for a day or two in very wet and stormy Wyoming weather. ... exceed the quality of a lot of Western branded mid range tents in the $500 USD pricing tier based on my experience of seeing colleagues with a couple of very well known and popular mid tiered tents struggling under stronger winds and wetter weather."

"The footprint of the floor is a square for the T4 hub tent, so you should find the available space easy to work with, even with mattress. ... We have the T4 plus, which is just two squares with a room divider. We use cots and there is room for 5 and the dogs."
"I also loved how tall it was, you can probably stand up straight even as a tall person. ... Standing up straight in a tent is a game changer"
"I'm 6'3 and can stand up in it."

"I can tell you I just used a gazelle tent in Ottawa last week for six nights with tons of mosquitoes and biting horse flies and everything and not a single bug in my tent at all."
"i camped in Assateague where the horse flies and mosquitos were abhorrent and this thing saved my entire trip."

"My core instant tent went through damn near hurricane storms and not even a drip."
"My two Winix units are 11 years old with 24/7 use and still going strong!"
"Winix makes a quality product. ... I have one that’s run basically non stop for almost a decade."

"traveling with it is painful. ... The pack size is huge and heavy."
"the packed size, it's fkn big ... You really need to be sure you can fit it in your car or be prepared to strap it to the top. ... When I had a Jeep, it BARELY fit! Bottom right corner. When I shut the tailgate, it would nudge it and that was having to move the passenger seat up as far as I could and still be able to sit in the seat."
"It's about the size of 12 by 12 popup shelter folded up."

"Personally snapped a three season tent on rainier from the wind a few seasons ago. Granted it was a big Agnes tiger wall."
"Hubba tent has a single top tube, this design is made to be lightweight but it cannot withstand wind."
"I saw over a dozen gazelles that totally failed during a storm at an Overland event two years ago. ... They did not hold up well at all. ... Guy lines were used etc, but they were some of the worst fairing tents among them all. ... I was a volunteer and had to go around taking stock of the damage and help people and after that I would not buy one of their tents. ... I was a volunteer at an overland rally two years ago and saw a bunch of gazelle tents fail in a wind storm. ... It was wild. they were the worst failing tents of all the tents there. ... esp if they are going to fail in bad weather."

"Too warm ... One big alert for Norda: the ventilation is bad. ... If you run in hot conditions, they will soak your feet within 30-45 minutes, so better beware."
"they are way too warm"
"the material was not breathable. ... I only wore them in the winter and couldn’t imagine wearing them in the middle of summer."

"Sea to Summit ultralight pad had nothing but punctures (or material defects) for me over the years."
"Constantly leaks"
"My new fucking Sea to Summit Ultralite decided holding air is not its thing despite very careful handling and making sure it wasn't left inflated during the day."
I love my Gazelle. From the inside, it has a smiling face. https://preview.redd.it/q1pj3tjxh9de1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=76c1a899f46a5a1e9502a4754044d726496ff4b3
r/camping • Looking for a functional, but aesthetically pleasing, tent. ->We camp with a Gazelle 10 man tent, so yes. We downgraded from a 26 foot camper. https://preview.redd.it/e4iauq1yw6be1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d345f3586946515c50a44c2cfae616777cd22605
r/camping • Massive tent ->Tried the Gazelle, liked it until I put it away on the first trip and 2 out of 4 metal sheath ends for the rain fly poles went loose into the dirt. Terrible quality for the price, went back to REI and got the Nemo Aurora.
r/CampingGear • I analyzed Reddit data for the 25 most recommended camping tents (in the past year) ->Gazelle’s are good, but they weigh a freaking ton. Not sure of your reasons for ditching the RTT, but other than the weight, the biggest downside of the hub tents are the massive amount of room they eat up in your vehicle. They don’t park down like regular tents. I find myself running short on space when I use my gazelle.
r/camping • Ditching the RTT for the ground. For the wife and I the cons outweigh the pros. Now in the market for a good Hub tent, any recommendations? I’ve been looking at the Gazelle T4 or Roam Drifter. ->yeah, just go with a Gazelle. if you didn’t care about bulk i’d recommend a Snow Peak but they aren’t necessarily easy to setup.
r/camping • what is the Best camping tent to buy right now with no fake reviews? ->We like the gazelle too. Husband can stand up in it. Quick set up/tear down. Very roomy and seems to be holding up really well.
r/overlanding • Tent Recommendations ->Check out Gazelle, it's bulky but I love it anyway.
r/camping • Looking for a high-quality tent for car camping in Utah ->If you're spending that type of money, look at the gazelle tents.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->I came here to say this. It's big, but it's easy peasy.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->+1 for Gazelle. In addition to being very roomy, the Gazelle is very very fast to set up and tear down. It handles inclement weather and strong winds (with the guylines staked down) very well
r/overlanding • Tent Recommendations ->It's always kind of amused me that Gazelle is known for being heavy. Gazelles, famous for their immense bulk and weight. And yes I know it's called that because it's fast to set up lol. They really are super nice.
r/camping • Do you guys have experience with these? ->I have a Gazelle, but due to the sheer size and weight when packed, I don't use it as often.
r/camping • Looking for a tent to hangout in ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
