Hubba tent has a single top tube, this design is made to be lightweight but it cannot withstand wind. You have to choose tents with another type of construction: half barrel designs (papa hubba type but smaller ones), two arches crossed two times designs (elexir type) or several arches forming a dome designs (3f ul Taiji and it's Hilleberg original).
r/Ultralight • Ultralight (ish) tent that can deal with wind ->For alpine, windy or snowy conditions, nothing beats a Hilleberg. Pricey though. Akto is my favorite one man shelter of all time (tunnel style). Soulo for a freestanding one man, but with a significant weight penalty. The Rogen is a sweet freestanding two man design. Has more airflow than some of their other models, but will handle wind like a champ. Excellent weight/space/weather compromise.

Real expeditions are more likely to choose Hilleberg. Their strongest tents are not super light, but they are made to withstand serious weather.
r/Ultralight • What ultralight tent do you recomend for severe cold weather? ->if money isnt a thing then hilleberg, black label series, a staika model kept me and my guide protected and safe when it snowed 14 inches on a high country elk hunt, they are awesome, im from Tennessee we dont need best quality expedition tents generally even in the eastern mountains. but having used that one for a week i can say that one was great.
