I'm not OP but I've had two inflatable beam tents. My first has been through, thunderstorms, snow, extreme heat, pretty much everything imaginable and has never let me down. With the thunderstorms it's been through, many standard tents in the campsite were destroyed during the storm. The way it handled inclement weather so well convinced me to upgrade to the one I have now (Kampa Hayling 4 TC). The technical cotton is way heavier, but handles hotter weather much better while still being waterproof. When properly staked, these tents are much more robust than standard poled tents.
