We picked up a Klymit Cross Canyon 3 from Menards for $40 last week (ground shipping is $9-10). It has two poles, color coded grommets for the poles, and a rain fly with color coded clips. If he ruins it, it’s only $40.
Bought one on a whim because the price was right. Camped all night in it last night with my three and six year-old in constant rain, kept us dry and yet breathed very well. Very happy with purchase.
This tent is great! We took the Scouts camping this weekend. It poured Friday night and rained most of the day Saturday. We had 3 of these tents. Every single one was bone dry. They outperformed tents that cost 5 times the amount . My only regret it that we only bought 3 of them.
I bought this direct from Klymit on a sale for $99 and it's been great. I've only used it 3-4 times but have been impressed. Impressed enough to buy a second anyway! Don't forget the footprint. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for the heads up! I just snagged one, I’m not anywhere near a Menards, so mine is $55 with shipping but still a great deal I think.
Same. Literally subbed to this sub a couple days ago and this popped up. Bought it a couple hours ago. Gonna introduce my kiddo to camping using this. For 30 bucks after the rebate, it can’t be bad enough to not be worth it (hopefully)
Menards is almost giving away a decent tent for $34. Klymit Cross Canyon 3 I don't work for either company or anything questionable. I just love the idea of decent tents for reasonable prices. Maybe it’ll help. Just got one myself
I have this tent. Great tent!
