[https://www.competitiveedgeproducts.com/kodiak-canvas-tent-6051-6-person](https://www.competitiveedgeproducts.com/kodiak-canvas-tent-6051-6-person) Setup is a breeze with easy-to-follow instructions and a one-person, 5-minute setup time.
I'll second the love of a Kodiak Flex Bow tent. Buy once cry once and have a tent that if you take care of it will last 20+ years.
Springbar or Kodiak. Both have their pluses and minuses. I also love to take my 28" Blackstone with me while camping.
Kodiak tents hold up well in the wind. Many stories of them going through 50-60 mph winds and no problems. They aren't the cheapest but they are quality.
Thirds on Kodiak Canvas I have a 10x10 Flex bow. I can put it up alone in 15 minutes and it's the best tent I have ever had for inclement weather. I got it on sale at Cabela's with free shipping. As someone else stated this thing is HEAVY ship weight is over 75lbs. Once you break out the poles and stakes from the tent it's easier to manage. Make sure when you put it up or take it down to leave one of the doors open for the air to escape/enter the tent. You'll see what I mean if you don't.
Kodiak 10x10 is perfect for 2 adults esp. with cots. Plenty of headroom for me at 6'2". Wish I woulda gone bigger now with 2 little ones. 10x14 upgrade happening next year.
Kodiak 10x14 . my partner is 6'1" and can stand up. I have a 10x10, and love it, but wish I had bought the larger one . Kodiak holds in wind and rain. Good in cold weather. You can get a heater also, but we don't have one. I use a Coleman double cot and air mattress. We camp year round in Southern California, coldest we've camped is 27°. I can put mine up alone , woman , 5'6" and in my 60s.
Look at Kodiak canvas flexbow 10x14 or 10x10. Canvas tents you can stand in and are very well made. And they set up solo in less than 10 minutes.
Absolutely. I love my Kodiak.
Is this the one that has all windows that close? I almost bought it, and I’m curious about it still. I ended up with the Kodak flex bow 10x10 canvas tent and it’s AWESOME. But it’s heavy. Not bad to setup for me and easy to take down. I went this route because I am so tired of the light weight mesh tents that don’t seal fully and I end up with layers of fine red it’s sand and dust inside of it. The Kodiak tent seals up completely and is solid in wind and rain. This gazelle you have is lighter and faster setup, so maybe someday I’ll grab this one too and see how it compares!
