My wife and I went with a kodiak canvas tent, but we also use it in all seasons. It was nice because the higher walls made setting up the pack and play a breeze. Plus there were plenty of ways to rig up a portable sound machine and fan too. We got that so we can extend our camping into all seasons (they are fantastic with a wood stove when it's cold out). They take a little more time to set up, but they are worth it. I got a spare canvas to throw under the tent floor as a ground sheet - that just helps add another layer between the tent and the dirt and debris. I also got rolls of cheap carpet from lowes/home depot for the inside of the tent, it just made it a little more comfortable and helps after you tear down. You can shake out the rugs and roll on. They are more pricey than the ones you mentioned, but also a lot more durable. Even with site prep she and I were able to get it set up in under an hour. If interested I can drop some links to the tent and some of the other acoutremant we included.

https://kodiakcanvas.com/collections/cabin-tents/products/12x12-cabin-lodge-tent-sr-stove-ready We went with this one. And no we didn't have issues with there not being dividers! We didn't use them but we did have provisions to make dividers if needed. There's a way to string a line inside the tent and you could section off a portion with something like a sheet/tarp/blackout curtain and some shower curtain clips. We liked this because we can get the awning down the line if we feel we need more room for gear storage, a sheltered kitchen area, a changing area or whatever you need. We also got a portable privacy shelter to use as a restroom and a collapsible toilet that holds wag bags. Not the most glamorous solution but it works lol

My buddy recently turned me on to Kodiak. It's my wife, our huge dog, and I. I bought the 12x12 cabin with the wood stove. Plenty of room and amazing in the cold weather. We cooked 95% of our meals on the stove while it was low 30s and raining for a week of camping in the high desert of Oregon. We stayed perfectly warm and dry. I can't speak highly enough about Kodiak!

I love my 100-lb Kodiak but boy do I hate moving it 😂

I used the 12x12 cabin in 30mph sustained winds last week. Gusting up to 60mph, and the tent never sustained any damage. Inside the tent was definitely completely sheltered from the wind, however it was pretty noisy with the billowing of the roof and the zippers all banging around, so my sleep was not the best. I obviously had to take the chimney down as well, so I was lucky it was relatively warm that night. One other caveat is that I use 12” lag stakes, not the included Kodiak stakes.

Also love our Kodiak wall tent. Amazing for setting up for several days somewhere. Such a tank.

I'll never not own an instant tent for normal camping. I have my kodiak for desert camping but go instant if youre going on a normal forest trip lol

I use a Kodiak. Use my ATV to haul it in, pretty bulky but bombproof.

The T5 definitely has better bug protection - they redesigned the floor attachment system and the seams are way more solid than teh older models. I've used both and the difference is pretty noticeable That said, if you're really worried about setup complexity, the Gazelle instant tents are still gonna be easier to deal with than a Kodiak even if you mess up some velcro alignment. Worst case you just walk around and double-check everything before you get in for the night 💀 Being anxious about gear purchases is totally normal but don't let it paralyze you - both tents will keep bugs out fine if you take 2 minutes to make sure everything's sealed up properly 😂
