My Flex bow has been through some pretty good storms

Love my Kodiak flexbow. Over $400 though.

Car camping or is someone going to have to pack it. For an absolutely comfortable and durable experience, I cannot recommend the Kodiak flexion (canvas) enough. Absolutely fantastic tent. Literally the only issue is weight. It is quite heavy. For cub scouts it's perfect, and it will last decades. Also, you can comfortably fit like 8 kids in one if the other kids are unprepared.

I have a Kodiak canvas flex-bow tent that I used 4 seasons, its sturdy metal poles held up through a lot of snowfall and it was fine in the summer in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming mostly .

The Kodiak flex-bow is very simple and quick to set up but it’s big and heavy. Also, it’s not self-standing so you have to get the stakes into the ground for it to work.

yeah I have owned two Kodiak flexbows and they are both great stood up to 60+ mph winds, snow storms, windstorms on the beach, and heavy, heavy rain

I don't have much in terms of comparing the wall tents, but I do have a Kodiak Flex-Bow tent. In the pictures it looks plastic, but they are canvas tents which come with an additional weather coating on them. Definitely not a plastic tent. It's been in heavy rain and winds with no issues.

Can't answer your question on the quick tents. I have a Kodiak flex-bow. If you choose one, get a drill with drill tent stakes. My daughter and I can setup the tent itself in 5 minutes.

The Kodiak flex bow tents are heavy, but I set up ours most of the time. We have a 10x14 and it's not hard to solo setup. Bonus points to have drill in stakes. With them, it takes about 5 minutes to setup the tent. (For reference, I'm over 50)
