"it’s like 1/4 the price of a shift ... I cannot believe the price differential. Shiftpods started off priced closer to Kodiak, now shiftpods are practically 3x the cost of their fanciest largest tent."

"My Kodiak tent feels like something I could live in long term for a year, winter through summer. ... I camped in it last year during a night where it rained 20mm with 70km/h wind and I woke up bone dry, and the awning even stayed up."
"tough large tent ... Lasts forever"
"After 10 years of music festivals and Outerbanks week long fishing trips, there is not much wear on the ol' Kodiak."

"Trudging through the mud from my friends mud caked RVs into our dry Kodiak was incredible. ... Every single shiftpod in our camp had soggy floors. Some fared better than others"
"the only tent that seemed to be standing sturdy in every camp was a springbar style canvas tent. ... the kodiaks were hassle free and a lot of people just lagged the 4 corners. those mf'ers are the real deal. ... will withstand any weather"

"It's definitely a car camping tent unless you love toting heavy packs."

"I like my Kodiak but the brightness is an issue ... It's a real killer for trying to plan super late/sunrise adventures when you can't get back and rest well at dawn."
I have the Kodiak canvas 10x10 flexbow. It is an ideal size for 2 people sleeping on cots, there is ample room inside.
r/camping • Looking for a high-quality tent for car camping in Utah ->Look at Kodiak canvas flexbow 10x14 or 10x10. Canvas tents you can stand in and are very well made. And they set up solo in less than 10 minutes.
r/CampingGear • Looking for a new tough car camping tent ->Kodiak rules. I love my 10x10 and it will last forever.
r/CampingGear • Needing a tent for car camping in Texas ->It’s heavy so perfect for car camping: the Kodiak flex bow 10x10. I’m 6ft 3 and had plenty of room to stand. Easy setup and take down with one person too
r/camping • Car camping tent recommendations ->Look at Kodiak canvas 10x10 spring bow tent It's a little spendy, but perfect for any campground footprint, last a lifetime and you can stand in it I'm 6'2 and have zero issues standing Had mine 6 years use it 50 days a year still looks like new
r/camping • Yurt or traditional tent ->Oh and sets up in 15 mins one person
r/camping • Yurt or traditional tent ->I love my Kodiak canvas tent. I have the 10x10 but they have a variety of sizes
r/CampingGear • Looking for recommendation on all season four person tent for scouts ->My two cents: For car camping, I absolutely recommend Kodiak Canvas. My family of 4 and our dog have spent many nights in ours over the last 5 years, and it has held up great. Set up is cake, too. We have the 10x14, but there's a 10x10 as well. It may be over $500 by now, but it should last a loooong time.
r/CampingGear • Needing a tent for car camping in Texas ->Second the Kodiak love my 10x10 very well made with durable canvas
r/CampingGear • Looking for a new tough car camping tent ->My Kodiak Flexbow VX sez hi.
r/BuyItForLife • The Springbar tent for the win ->Kodiak Canvas Flex-Bow VX. I’m 6’3” and can easily stand in it anywhere in the tent. Very durable & strong. I’ve been in desert winds with 45 mph gusts and the tent did great. All other tents at the campground packed up and went home .
r/CampingGear • Tent to stand up in ->They make a 10’x10’ and a 10x14’ version. Since you’ll be camping 3 weeks per month, it’d be worth it to have the extra room of the 10x14 — provided there’s enough space at the sites you’ll be staying
r/CampingGear • Tent to stand up in ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
