"My Kodiak tent feels like something I could live in long term for a year, winter through summer. ... I camped in it last year during a night where it rained 20mm with 70km/h wind and I woke up bone dry, and the awning even stayed up."

"After 10 years of music festivals and Outerbanks week long fishing trips, there is not much wear on the ol' Kodiak."

"the kodiaks were hassle free and a lot of people just lagged the 4 corners. those mf'ers are the real deal."

"I’m 6’3” and can easily stand in it anywhere in the tent."

"It is an ideal size for 2 people sleeping on cots, there is ample room inside."

"I’m 6ft 3 and had plenty of room to stand."

"Trudging through the mud from my friends mud caked RVs into our dry Kodiak was incredible. ... Every single shiftpod in our camp had soggy floors. Some fared better than others"

"the only tent that seemed to be standing sturdy in every camp was a springbar style canvas tent. ... the kodiaks were hassle free and a lot of people just lagged the 4 corners. those mf'ers are the real deal. ... will withstand any weather"

"it’s like 1/4 the price of a shift ... I cannot believe the price differential. Shiftpods started off priced closer to Kodiak, now shiftpods are practically 3x the cost of their fanciest largest tent."

"its like 1/4 the price of a shift"

"last a lifetime ... Had mine 6 years use it 50 days a year still looks like new"

"I like my Kodiak but the brightness is an issue ... It's a real killer for trying to plan super late/sunrise adventures when you can't get back and rest well at dawn."

"It's definitely a car camping tent unless you love toting heavy packs."

"They're heavy"

I have the Kodiak canvas 10x10 flexbow. It is an ideal size for 2 people sleeping on cots, there is ample room inside.

Look at Kodiak canvas flexbow 10x14 or 10x10. Canvas tents you can stand in and are very well made. And they set up solo in less than 10 minutes.

It’s heavy so perfect for car camping: the Kodiak flex bow 10x10. I’m 6ft 3 and had plenty of room to stand. Easy setup and take down with one person too

I have Kodiak canvas 10x10 perfect for 2 and a dog, I'd go bigger for more people Had it almost 10 years, probably 350 nights in it, besides being a little dirty on the roof, I plan on getting 10 more years from it. I also rock their sleeping bags and camp chairs, all VERY high quality, worth the spend, and mad comphy Get the tarp they sell to keep the crap off the top of your tent. I do not because I like to watch the birds walk on the roof in the am🤣 Maybe get a buddy heater for cold nights I would also buy a good screen room for the bugs and all

Get a big and small Kodiak. I've had my 10x10 for 7 years, got over 30 nights a year easy on it, never a leak, zippers all still like new. I'd invest in the new thing they have to go over the top to keep it clean. Get the sleeping bag too... AMAZING for truck camping, I LOVE mine!!!

Our 10x10 Kodiak Canvas tent has been the best tent we ever bought. Still just the 2 of us, but we throw a queen size cot and air mattress in it and still have room that we can move our camp chairs in it when it rains etc. At first I thought it would be annoying to setup and tear down. But after a few trips we can get it up in a couple minutes and tear down about the same. It's nice to be able to stand up fully as well. Only downside is they're pricey.
