Maybe not the pinnacle of ultralight camping, but i've ran a used litefighter 1 tent for a little bit now, and i love it to death.

Litefighter Tent with Winter conversion. A bit heavy but weight is comparable to other solid winter tents. The nice thing about this tent you can set it up and pop it down practically anywhere and fast and it will handle severe weather. Been in mine for blizzards and was a happy camper essentially.

I recommend the single person Lite Fighter tent if you’re into compact tents. I got one issued in service and had to get one for myself, they’re a little pricy but survived all my field events the last 4 years when l was allowed to use it. Lite Fighter also makes a winterizing kit for it but I’m not sure what temperatures it’s rated for.

If you can afford it, I have an army issue Lightfighter 1, it can be a backpacking tent, just a screen tent or mounted on an Army issue or similar size cot. Full price is like $450 you can find them in surplus stores for around $200. And its only 4 lbs

I have a Lightfighter 1 with the cold weather option. It is a double wall tent with and extra 3rd wall that can be added for colt weather. There is a 2 person version. I love sleeping in the tent. It holds up well in weather.

I second this. I love my Lightfighter. I even got the cold weather kit. Bomb proof tent that's good year round. It is heavy though. At 4.5 pounds or heavier depending on the configuration is a heavy one person.
