Exactly this. We bought a limestone last summer and have used it a couple of times and it's been a champ.
I like full coverage rain flys and good vestibules. Marmot Limestone has been my recent purchase and I’m quite happy with it. Great headroom. Before that, I used (and still have) my older 4 season REI Basecamp 6.p — great for storms, not much for headroom though.
Also consider the Marmot Limestone. Another with a lifetime warranty. Nice inside height, they ventilate well, and the poles are very sturdy.
The Marmot Limestone is pretty well established as a super solid camping tent. It is well designed with upper vents, a dry vestibule and a rainfly that covers to the ground. High quality materials go into this tent. SunnySports has it for $289 right now. Usually $500
Damnit, Marmot or SunnySports should give me a commission for this, lol. Didn’t know I had tent salesman on my resume!
Not sure why the guy is getting down voted for being right Listen my guy, I have a marmot limestone and I love it. I'm a huge fan of their brand. But if you are looking to spend over 400 bucks for a backpacking ultralight tent, you have a ton more options. My backpacking tent is the Nemo hornet I got on sale for 327 at REI and it's freaking awesome and very very light. I got it down to like 2 and a half pounds. I have a 3p as well. My buddy got the big Agnes tiger wall and that's a solid tent as well. If you want to go lighter, you can go with a trekking pole tent... Quite a few out there as well. Tldr I wouldn't get the limelight tent as if too heavy for the price.
