I have the limestone 8 for car camping and that thing is an absolute tank in thunderstorms. Impressive given its size. Great quality and customer service as well. I imagine the 6 would have a similar review.
I’ve got the Marmot Limestone 8. It needs two people to set up. Can be done in under 10 minutes once familiar with it. It packs fairly small for size of tent , about the size of a medium size duffle. Won’t set up a fast as a Gazelle though. Handles wind and rain well. Give it a look.
Kelty, Marmot, North Face, Big Agnes, Nemo, and REI all have big tents that will be significantly better than Coleman/Ozark Trail, etc. The Marmot Limestone 8 was just on sale (may still be) and is a huge, great family tent that has held up for my in torrential downpours well. Just be mindful of the footprint limitations when camping at developed campsites. It may limit how big a tent you can’t setup.
