In addition to the durston tents as already suggested (I have the x mid and while its very light because it’s a trekking pole tent, the fabric feels quite durable), I want to suggest the marmot tungsten 1 person tent. Less than 4lbs, durable, comfortable, less than $300. It’s the first backpacking tent I bought and it’s still the one I reach for on shorter trips where I’m not worried about weight. It’s so easy to set up, stays stable in wind and rain, and fits it pretty small spots without feeling claustrophobic inside. Others have suggested big Agnes — while I love the big Agnes fly creek 1p I have I would not describe it as very durable. I do a lot more patching of holes on that tent than the other two I mentioned. Still a great tent and I’m not getting rid of it anytime soon, but I don’t think it’s what you are looking for.

I use a marmot tungsten UL tent in the part of Sweden you're describing and it has been great, including on trips where it basically rained the whole time.

I love my marmot Tungsten UL. I have a single person and two person. Good weight and is durable.

Check out steep and cheap online. I've had a marmot tungsten UL tent for the last 6 years or so and I use it probably 60 nights a year at least. Has been awesome

I’ve used Marmot standard and UL tents. I’m not sure I would use an UL tent as my main tent (unless you’re backpacking all the time). The standard feels more durable, but both have held up for me. My recommendation for backpacking tents are Tarptents. Really like those.

I own Kelty, North Face and Marmot backpacking tents, and can attest to their durability, ease of use and agreeable weight. I've used them both in the backcountry as well as when going car camping.

Canadian here. Marmot tungsten is my vote. There is good head room, a door on each side and the pockets are in each corner so I can tuck my glasses in. A small sleeve at the top allows for my headlamp to be held. Light enough for canoe camping. Roomy enough for two people plus our gear.

Yes we are 2 people sleeping in a 3 person tent. Decided to get a little bit of wiggle room. I side sleep in the fetal position and they wiggle around a bunch. The tent feels roomy for two fairly tall adults and their gear. We use it for cold weather camping as well. We were out being off last in the single digits. This allows us to have a bunch of blankets and things too.
