Haha i came to advise that although I like phoxx 1 I do miss being able to sit up.

Have a look at the cloud up. I’d also avoid the phoxx 3 as it’s just too big for 1 person. Keep in mind head hight too. I have a phoxx 1 and love it, very easy to set up, decently light but it’s a coffin and not for everyone. If you’re planning on using hiking poles you could have a look at the lanshan potentially.

Used an OEX Hyena on 6 expeditions so far and it has been perfect - no leaks and poles have withstood 50+mph winds, maybe I've been lucky, but so far so good. I've borrowed a Phoxx II a couple of times and that has been good but I couldn't sit up in it quite as well as in the Hyena. Neither ultralight, but for the price they are great. I'd go for a 2-man tent, which then has space for you and your bag. If they had the Rakoon II (the next tent I've been eyeing up) with the Hyena's outer first pitch system, it would be perfect.

I have the phoxx II and I think it’s a good size for one person plus their gear. Quality is decent for the price. It strikes a decent balance between weight, size, easy to set up, and cheap
