I have the Hussar 2.0. It’s a great tent to get your foot in the door of hot tenting. Had many good nights in it. But yes, you do have to crawl, especially when you are trying to open or close the doors. I recently upgraded to a Nortent Gamme 6. They were closing out an old color so I got one 50% off, but I’m not sure the $1500 regular price is worth it. That goes for any standard tent, but I guess I’m just old and remember things being much cheaper 😂. That being said, the Gamme 6 is a game changer. Smaller footprint but more usable space than the Hussar 2.0. Premium materials, and good design. You can almost stand next to the walls, the venting is great, and stability is awesome. I’m very happy I switched to a dome style tent.
I have seen some setups where people will elbow the chimney so it's pretty far from the tent. I mean, I'm SURE that the tent company thought of this and the material it's made out of can withstand some sparks. My tent is a Pomoly teepee. Despite it being well made, in the end it's just thin nylon/polyester and the littlest spark is going to instantly burn a hole right through it. I burn good wood, yet that still happened so who knows. Something to keep an eye on and for sure ask around on the elbow, I don't really know how that would work as far as getting a proper flow.. maybe it's no big deal. Love the tent though, I keep eyeing them up, but $1k is way too pricey. I'm sure like everything they will come down once other tent makers jump on it.
