I use them. My current one is a Pomoly knockoff from China. Cost less than 300 bucks and thats with a meshed inner that includes a footprint. The inside has a silver backing. I doubt this does much to protect it against a stove/pipe, but it does make any light you are using illuminate much of it. It's light. Holds up very well in heavy rain and has snow skirts. The only downside, and for me it's a biggie, is that the inner wasnt designed with a stove in mind, despite it having a fireproof area around the stove exit hole (a stove jack would fit well here). When using the stove, I have to move 1/2 of the inner to one side. It's not an issue as such, it just doesn't look as tidy as I would like. Also, the placement of the chimney hole is in the wrong place. But hey, it works and works well - it just could be better. I really do need to start contacting manufacturers. I've not owned a tent for 20 or so years where it's design could not be improved in some way. Edit. Here it is, I bought it through Amazon 6 years ago. I've used it each year between mid-November through to early March without issue. https://amzn.eu/d/543JQaJ. My current go-to tent is Polymo. The Leo 2 has a stove jack and I'm included to use it this season...except the bloody doors are sticked to the wrong side - they MUST be tied or they will touch the stove. Edit 2. Condensation is not an issue. This is because I leave a door partway open to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
